Booked as a one-night stopover en route to our main holiday, but left us wishing we were staying there longer. Immaculately clean with all mod-cons but combined with traditional furnishing and many fascinating items – especially old clocks! Our host, Mary, was very welcoming and helpful, and although we are well used to the “full-Irish” the four-course breakfast here was...

We've been in Thornbrook house in July and the overall experience was just great. Our room was spacious and very bright. Beds are very comfortable, as are the beds linen, and we had some of the best sleeps ever. We also got to try the real irish breakfast which was very tasty and felt authentic, and Mary's homemade brown bread...

Highly recommend this beautifully presented home as a wonderful B&B. Mary's hospitality could not be faulted. The rooms were beautifully appointed, the bed extremely comfortable and our stay was most enjoyable. Every bit as good as a five star hotel but more personal. Thank you Mary. The place was very clean with a lovely yard that looked as if you could use it as putting green, it was so well maintained....

We have been travelling extensively for a couple of months throughout the UK, Ireland and France and found that our stay at Thornbrook House was delightful. Mary Kennedy is a most welcoming person who runs a very comfortable, friendly and very clean B & B. The rooms are light and airy and are roomy. Mary provides a great freshly cooked...
