Hotel looks a lot better in photos. Some areas of the hotel need work on, and some staff are not the friendliest.. Our room was slightly dull with worn skirting boards and a dirty bath! However lovely food in a great location.

Sadly the hotel looks much better from the outside and the lobby than the rest of the house does. The regular rooms are in an extension to the main building and quite standard for a 3 to 4 star hotel. The room itself was clean but needed refurbishment as there were quite some big stains in the not so new...

We really enjoyed our stay here, it is a beautiful hotel, with the nicest lobby I've seen in a long time. We spent a very relaxing Saturday afternoon enjoying a cup of tea there. The leisure centre is a bit tired and grubby in places. But we did like that there were family and adult only swim times so there...

I visited this hotel for the first time on Sunday & I was not impressed. I was there with my cousins and was meeting my American relations for the first time. We decided to try and get another table and chairs put in beside where we had chosen to sit as there was nearly 20 of us in total. We...

I liked this hotel very much, but my only issue was that the room seemed too warm. It helped when we opened a window. The bed was comfortable and the staff was great. I also especially liked the restaurant good. Tried several on property. I too, was expecting more of a castle, but I have stayed in true castles before...

Good location, easy to find. Beautiful decor, spacious rooms, large bath rooms. The beds were extremely comfy and cozy. I didn't care for the fish at the Grill but it was quickly replaced. The lounge area is elegant and comfortable for a snack, cocktail, lunch or just to relax for a bit. Breakfast was included but we were leaving early...

Had a lovely stay at this hotel with some friends. It wasn't what we were expecting though. The lobby was lovely and the staff super helpful. Our group had 2 rooms. A double room, which was beautiful and clean with a gorgeous patio. The rest of us were in a very plain, large room with 2 double beds and a...

Hotel was difficult to find but arrived early and the gentleman who checked us in at reception kindly gave us a room early. The room was large, clean, nicely decorated with two double beds in the room which was a very pleasant surprise. Afternoon tea served in the lobby was overpriced brought in desserts rather than being freshly made however...

We arrived at the hotel after a red eye flight tired and ready to sleep. The reservations department could not find our reservation and kept us sitting in the lobby for over an hour while they sorted out the paperwork errors. After arguing it was our travel agency';s mistake they discovered a booking error and then the tone changed to...
