The Host was very nice and the breakfast was good. The room was small and needed updating. The room and bathroom were clean but the towels smelt bad especially when wet (maybe this was from dampness).

I recently stayed at this lovely old and quaint b&b, it was a truly home from home, with lovely rooms and a proper irish breakfast, it was made all the better with the assistance and service given to us by the owners Sheila and tim. Will definitely return. Paul, Birmingham

Four of us recently stayed at this B&B, the landlady Sheila was most accommodating, very friendly and welcoming, our rooms were comfortable and spotless with facilities for tea/coffee making, and a view to die for, so quiet it was pure heaven. Our Breakfast was a traditional Irish breakfast with all you could ask for, cooked to perfection with a proper...

While working for a few days, I had the pleasure of staying in Ballymountain House near Innishannon. This is a first class acct for the price, it was amazing, tv, tea & coffee & hairdryer, and a lovely en suite room. I would class this as an excellent house, and would recommend to my friends when they come here to...

I recently had the pleasure of staying at beautiful Ballymountain House and I'm glad i did !! If what you are looking for is peace and tranquility in lovely surroundings this is the place for you . This lovely old Georgian House cares for your every need. The rooms are spotlessly clean and there is a beautiful old time ambiance....

This bed and breakfast should be closed down immediately - it makes Fawlty Towers look professional! Keys not working, awful room, no soap in shower, greasy breakfasts, tatty, tired bedlinen and towels - in need of a comprehensive make over. At €70 per room per night it does not represent value for money.

Nice location if you're looking for a place in the country. Accommodating staff. Damp and cold room, uncomfortable beds. Clean enough, bathroom nice but the hot water didn't last. Good breakfast.

My adult daughter and I booked BallyMountain 2 weeks before traveling and got a confirmation immediately. 3 days before travelling, I e-mailed to re-confirm our date. At that time, the return e-mai stated that they would be at a wedding and would we please advise them of the time of our arrival. Unable to do that, as we were travelling...

My husband and I have stayed at many bed and breakfasts and this one undoubtedly is the very worst. Everything that has already been said about the lack of cleanliness, the nonexistent water pressure, the horrible musty odor, etc. is absolutely true. Also as I laid in bed, I could hear conversations from downstairs very clearly, which was quite disconcerting....
