We arrived from a long day travelling without a booking but were welcomed in and given a lovely room. The beds were comfortable, everything was clean with nice finishing touches. We could come and go as we pleased and in the morning had a delicious breakfast. The prices were very good for an excellent one night stay.

Though the house is beautiful and clean, there was club/dance music broadcast from the owner's loud stereo system for the majority of our stay - we could hear it in our room. Even in the breakfast room in the morning, there was clubbin' music playing. Not the type of ambiance we were expecting in a beautiful home. At breakfast, the...

Stayed two nights for combination of business and pleasure. Ard Mhara has a great location convenient for travel and local amenities. Evelyn's hospitality is first class and real attention has been paid to getting the accomodation welcoming for both business and leisure visitors. There's plenty of accomodation and access for vehicles. The house is elegantly furnished and its a real...

Evelyn was very welcoming and a great source of local information. We were offered tea and biscuits on arrival in front of a much appreciated fire. The rooms were lovely and breakfast in the morning was delicious.

I got trapped in Galway during the recent floods, at 10.30 in the evening I was in Oranmore and needed somewhere to stay overnight urgently. I was exhausted. I had tryed other B&Bs closer to Galway city but they had no rooms. As soon as I saw Ard Mhara Lodge's sign and the lights on I went straight in, I...

Breakfast was absolutely fantastic and set us up for the day. The B&B is just a couple of minutes from town, enabling us to enjoy peace and quiet...

Stayed with a few friends in this fantastic house earlier this year. The turf fires and great craic made this one of the best bed and breakfasts we have ever stayed in. It is only a minutes walk to the restaurants and pubs in Oranmore village and when we wanted to go to Galway it was only a 10 minute...

This was extremely poor value and was the only low point of another wise brilliant week in Ireland, the house had no heating on when we arrived mid afternoon ( October ) and remained off till the evening in spite of our requests. There was no hot water either. Breakfast was mediocre.
