A fantastic place. This is not a hotel, nor is it a typical guest house and it isn't even a bed and breakfast in the normal sense. It is modern but quaint, traditional but quirky and secluded, but close to all the major places of interest in Clare. However, it is Wolfgang, the owner, who really makes it. You can...

Had a fantastic time, the country house was exactly that! Just beautiful and homely inside, with a fab open fire (home away from home). The staff were so friendly and so helpful and the food (breakfast) was delicious! The rooms were beautiful and the grounds were stunning! Its definitely worth a stay, you wont be disappointed!

What a gorgeous spot for a quiet getaway! The premises is beautiful - very old world. It has such a cosy and welcoming feeling as soon as you arrive. This was due to both the decor and the warm welcome from the owners. They were extremely friendly and happy to chat with us over breakfast the following morning also. The...

We were a group of 4 (2 couples) and stayed here for one night. We really enjoyed our stay! This B&B is a lovely cottage located in a beautiful place! It is a bit isolated so you definitely need gps to find it, however it is ideal for relaxation and quiet time! The staff and the owner were very polite...

We visited March 2016 and had a wonderful time. We checked in around 6pm and settled in the sitting room around the fireplace. They had many books and magazines where you could sit for hours with a beer or glass of wine. The room was comfortable and breakfast the next morning was our favorite breakfast of our visit. Very personable...

This Inn is a lovely place to stay in the Burren. The owners are charming and the breakfast was the best we've had so far in Ireland. Our room was very big, big comfortable bed and pillows. Hot water with great pressure, towels changed daily (although that might have been because of our fights with the shower head, sorry). The...

Stayed for 1 night, only wish we had longer time here. The old irish charm of this place is stunning. We was greeted on arrive by a lovely gentleman who showed us around and told us if we wanted a drink to just help ourselves and write down what we had on a tab. It was like a home away...

I loved the interior with it's Irish charm. The host couldn't be more helpful and the breakfast was really good. Galway and the Cliffs of Moher are close so it's a perfect option for exploring west Ireland. Definitely recommend the waters!

I enjoyed my stay at the Waters Country House. It was quiet, close to interesting hiking trails, and the breakfast was excellent. The building is quite unique and charming. It was refreshing not to have a television in the room. The hosts were charming and attentive, the staff was excellent. And it was fascinating to have a water spring within...

Easy walking distance to everything should not be the equivalent of 3 miles drive to village and you definitely need a GPS, where you cannot even find a phone charger. Village is small with nothing to do. The accomodation itself was in an annexe, looking more like a shed from the outside, just one room, no hair dryer, zero wifi,...

Dear Guest, We appreciate that you took your time to leave a review in order to help us to improve. We would like to clarify a few things, first we are located in Newtown, 5 min drive into Ballyvaughan as advertise in our website but if you like to walk it takes 25min to go down to the village using...
