Barberstown is a nice hotel the bedroom was very nice, the only reason I gave it 3stars is because firstly on the lunch there was no vegetarian option and only one option on the dinner menu, also if you want a drink before 5oclock it was very very limited two choices of wine and I think a couple of beers,we noticed there...

Barberstown Castle is one of Ireland's Blue Book hotels guaranteeing excellent accommodation and dining. You will not be disappointed. The rooms are large, with a genuine country house feel. The Four-poster beds are a treat. Excellent food both evening and for breakfast. Staff are welcoming and helpful.

I decided as a surprise for my husband Aidan to book Barberstown Castle for a dinner bed and breakfast. We had our Wedding Reception in Barberstown Castle back in 1992. From the minute we arrived we were made to feel special by the Reception Staff. We had been upgraded to a suite and were congratulated on our arrival. Our bedroom...

Huge suite, actually. Lovely facilities, a bidet, a french daybed, etc. It is on a small highway just south of a lovely little Irish college town, Maynooth. There are cute bars and shops in a small downtown area.

We stayed overnight. We were welcomed at Reception by Sally. Our room was sumptuous and comfortable. Our breakfast in the morning was great. We relaxed for a while in the sun lounge with the mirrors. Lovely. This is a fabulous hotel.

Had a wonderful couple of days in Barberstown Castle. From the friendly and courteous reception staff to the attentive resteraunt waiters, I complement them all. The food was superb, and complimented with a great wine list.

This hotel would have gotten a great review except the main gate was not in operation so I had to enter the premises from the delivery gate, the kitchen was closed for dinner so I had to go off the premises for food, the tower was under construction. I honestly believe I was the only person in the hotel that...

Went here for a meal recently. The decor in the lobby certainly needs some attention. We had a meal in the restaurant. The service was excellent and the food was very tasty. I can't fault the service or food and if you are looking for fine dining at a fair price I would recommend here.

We stayed here on Saturday to attend a wedding. We were able to check in early which was great before the wedding. On check in the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was really beautiful with a huge four poster bed and really large and nicely decorated bathroom. The hotel is nicely spread out and the wedding...

Stayed here for a wedding recently, rooms were quite nice, four poster bed, nice cooked breakfast. After that the rest is pretty underwhelming, dinner was poor, hotel and reception felt disjointed, hotel in general felt cold both literally and in terms of the atmosphere throughout. Overpriced for the product!
