Stayed one night at Briar Lodge. Traveling around Ireland with so many activities made us tired. Our family needed a good night's rest and that's what Briar Lodge provided. Awwwwe so relaxing! Trish was a terrific host. Very roomy and clean.

It is doable, but I recommend driving if you have a car,, the road is narrow and not necessarily conducive for walking.l Also, if you are going to the banquet in the evening it will be dark when you return and walking would not be advisable as the road is not well lit. The lady who runs Briar Lodge is very helpful and may be able to offer some suggestions for her. I would suggest emailing her directly.
