In the country, not far from the Shannon airport, this upscale manor has nicely furnished, large rooms in the country motif. Adequate sized room and bathroom. The hosts apologized for a few items which weren't working properly (Internet, bathroom mirror light), and said they were scheduled to be repaired. They were very kind to offer a simple do-it-yourself breakfast for... More

We only had one night here, as we were catching a mid-morning flight out of Shannon. Penny was a lovely & lively hostess. She had a breakfast buffet ready for us at 7:30 am. We had cereal, fruit, yogurt, home-made scones, toast and tea. We were also very happy with the pub she recommended for dinner the night before. Our... More

We arrived late and had to leave early but Penny was wonderful! When I let her know we would be arriving late she made arrangements for us to get the key. Then when we informed her we had an early morning flight she made sure we had directions for the airport and where to return our car. She also set... More

This property was lovely! Everything was so charming and warm. We had a wonderful night of sleep and a delicious meal the next morning. What made this stay so memorable was Penny! She was so kind and made us feel right at home. I think I took a millions pictures because everything was so scenic at this house. Thank you... More

Stayed here one night to attend the Traditional Irish Night at the castle and then head to the Galway area. The owner here is incredibly helpful and friendly and everything went smoothly from beginning to end. You can walk to Bunratty Castle and neighbouring pubs in less than 10 minutes, or take a 2 minute drive. Our room was facing... More

We stayed one night on our last day in Ireland. It is close to the Shannon airport (maybe 15-20 minutes) and close to Bunratty Castle. Of all of the B and B' we stayed in, this one was most like a home that people actually lived in. Penny was helpful and nice. Breakfast was excellent, especially the fresh scones. It... More

This is a very comfy B&B just 20 minutes fromShannon airport. We wanted a place where we could rest following a not too restful overnight flight. Polly was happy to allow us early checkin so we could grab a few hours' nap before taking a refreshing afternoon walk to the neighboring Bunratty castle. The morning breakfast was delicious befre we... More

We stayed here for our last 3 nights in Ireland - great decision. Penny, our host was wonderful. My wife was ill one day and Penny went out of her way to comfort her as well as she could. The home is beautiful with a well landscaped property. It is located close to the castle and several pubs. For our... More

We stayed at Dunaree for one night at end of an amazing trip to Ireland. The home is simple, clean and in its own way somewhat cozy. The scones were very good. Unfortunately, that's were the good ended. The owner was frazzled, dismissive and, in my opinion, occasionally rude. To be fair, she really did try to balance those characteristics... More

We stayed at Dunaree B & B after a long journey from the States to Ireland, arriving very early in the morning after barely any sleep, sorely aware that it was before check-in time. We had a bite to pass an hour or so but then found ourselves feeling zoned and thought we'd give it a try to see if... More
