Firstly -I would like to thank all the staff at Dromoland for making this a weekend to remember for my mums 70th! Nothing was too much trouble and everything I asked for was delivered with true Irish charm - thank you! We had booked everything in advance ( its a must!) Pony & Trap, the Falconry and Archery which was...

This is a beautiful, sumptuous, old castle steeped in history and elegance. The furniture, fixtures and fittings are exactly perfect, and everything is lush and very classy. Its beautifully maintained and spotlessly clean. The driveway leading up to the castle is through rolling parkland with rich vegetation and lots of indigenous mature trees and you feel like you are entering...

My wife and I stayed here on Friday night for her birthday. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The room was comfortable and spacious. The plumbing did keep making noise and was an irritant. The food was excellent and very enjoyable. I do take exception though to paying 16.35% service charge on a 5.80 pint of Guinness when ordered...

Firstly, the staff was great. No question about that. Except when I was emailing beforehand...it was troublesome, and frustrating. Once there, besides the stuffy sense of everything being extra costly, I was most disappointed that in just about every place, things were under construction: the tower, the dining room windows, the walled gardens, the passageway from the 200 rooms to...

We felt like royalty staying in our first castle here. The porters & staff are top notch. Their friendliness & attention to detail were impressive for example during breakfast the construction workers started making lots of noise & they had them pause until after breakfast. It was very hard to leave here & not compare our stay at The Malton...

This is a very pretty castle with a great location to nearby sites such as the Cliffs of Moher and Sky Drive. Our room was quite large and well appointed. The included breakfast was definitely a highlight run by a woman who I'd trust to run a nation. The food was fresh and delicious. The front desk/Manager went above-and-beyond the...

Everything about Dromoland is designed to enhance your experience as a guest. The staff are friendly and helpful. The castle and its grounds are beautifully maintained. The food is delicious, with afternoon tea standing out as a particular treat. Live music in the bar was also an unexpected perk. It was great to see many local families here celebrating special...

We got married here ten years ago and live going back to stay. The spa is super. The food especially the breakfast is delicious. Some renovation is required so a little disruption but all for the best. We loved the walks around the grounds also.

This place is amazing. I took my princess to this breathtaking hotel for 4 days and was not disappointed. We were treated like royalty and they have the best afternoon tea that we have experienced, including England. A must do once in a lifetime. Living in a Castle.
