This was my second time to stay at this Bed and Breakfast. Yvonne, who operates the B&B is very personable, helpful, and made us feel very welcomed. The room was perfect and the bathroom huge, with both a large bathtub and shower. Breakfast was excellent and cooked to order. This is an excellent location for starting a visit of the...

Stayed here on our last night in Ireland and were welcomed by the sweet and hospitable owner Yvonne. Our room was a good size, but it was not well heated and remained chilly all night. Also worthy of mentioning is the bright magenta color of the bedroom and bathroom. The shower was mediocre at best, but did the trick. Good view of...

We ended our ten day B&B tour by staying the last two nights at Coolakay House. The rooms were immaculate and comfortable. Yvonne made our stay a pleasure. It's more than a room to stay in. It's an experience we will remember always. We walked up through the pastures with ponies and sheep! The views were spectacular. Delicious breakfast and...

This is a unique B&B full of character. The room was very clean, comfortable and had a nice view at the hills. The garden is beautiful! And the ponies, one of them is a baby, are not to be missed, so adorable! Yvonne is a great host. She picked us up in the afternoon and brought us back to the...

We stayed at the Coolakay House for 2 nights having found it while returning from Powerscourt Waterfall. The property is ideally situated being in close proximity to many interesting tourist sites yet rural enough to give one the feeling of being a guest on a real farm. The grounds are beautifully manicured and extend far beyond the guesthouse with access...

Coolakay was an excellent location to stay at while visiting Powerscourt and surrounding area. Situated comfortably between The Wicklow Mountains Park, Powerscourt Estate and the Powerscourt Falls, we chose it originally for its central location. When we arrived, Yvonne was an excellent host, offering tea and biscuits and more than helpful to sit and talk about the area and good...

Great view from the lovely room. Pick-up service from wicklow way is great. Yvonne is very friendly. She will also bring you to town to have food. For the way back a guy named Kevin will bring you back, please note that he will ask you for 10euros when you arrive at the b&b again. Breakfast is delicious with home...

Place is great, Yvonne has horses, sheep, beautiful garden, whole farm, so experience is very special. Room was small but very cute.
