This is my second stay at Corcreggan since September last year. On both occasions I've camped, so I can only comment from that perspective. Good value for money, excellent campers kitchen, clean toilets & showers, well kept grounds, superb surrounding countryside and helpful staff. As a bonus, Brendan has a museum on the top floor that's well worth the effort... More

Thank you for your comprehensive and complimentary review of our property and service. I understand your requirement for a radio as I'm an avid listener myself but the difficulty is that this can detract from other people's enjoyment of the peaceful atmosphere. We could pipe traditional or classical music but perhaps it's better to allow people have their own, on... More

love the character of the place with lots of choice for different types of accomodation. we stayed in a double room for 2 nights with shared bathroom facilities. you'd nearly want to include an extra day on your itinerary to spend walking around the grounds and building. Hello JJ (hope I got that right?), Many thanks for your very complimentary review. I'm still not sure if your :) is an indication that I might have bored you to tears at breakfast ??? You know how it is ... there are no short stories in Ireland. Looking forward to your return and thanks again. Best regards, Brendan. More

We stayed at this charming mill with friends as part of a community choir holiday. This wonderful hostel accommodated us all comfortably - with enough space to be together or to be private. I found everything to be comfortable and in good working order. Nothing lavish, but with an eye to detail. It felt like home. The owner Brendan was... More

We both camped and stayed in the rooms here. The campsite was excellent with great views, use of a kitchen with fridge and stove (no microwave) plus a nice large room if you need to get out of the rain or wish to eat indoors. Shower was lovely and warm but a bit primitive. Large comfortable bar area was an... More

We have visited this magical retreat on a number of occasions and tried a variety of rooms and sampled the camping too. On this trip we had the chance to stay in the studio apartment which gave us the use of our own kitchen but still had the facility of the communal breakfast experience. This is a breakfast which is... More

Hello Maria, Thank you for the lovely, complimentary review. The update is that the big fridge we spoke about went in two days after your visit ... 1. The Railways Carriage has been totally refurbished and is back in operation as a hostel and as a 'Glamping Terrace' ... now there's a novel description! It is immediately popular again. 2.... More

An unfancy but fine place to stay in Dunfanaghy to sample the incredible scenery, hiking, exploring and eating ooportunities all around. Knowlegable and genial host provides tons of information, maps and advice. Breakfast was hearty and plentiful. The private rooms are small but cozy. You don't need to spend much time in the room! Thank you very much for taking the trouble to make such a complimentary review. It's most encouraging that you intend to return and spend more time with us and exploring the area.
