I had a quick one-night stay at Dunard Guest House - as manager Paul astutely stated, for me it was "just a bed for the night" as I was in Glasgow on business. Aside from the extra bathrooms and showers, this very much has the feel of staying in someone's house, which was fine by me. Paul was very welcoming...

We were greeted at the front door by the Manager Paul who was looking worse for wear and had to gather his thoughts to remember which room we had booked, the second thing we noticed (the first being the overflowing ashtray of nub ends at the front door) was that Paul smelt strongly of alcohol, he showed us around the...

We booked this place 6 months in advance for 2 nights and nothing could prepare me for what we met. First off the Manager paul was obviously intoxicated and said we were only booked for 1 night so at that point my gut feeling was to walk away but i stupidly gave him the benefit of the doubt. If you...

How do you review a place like this... Well first up it took me nearly 10 minutes to get in as I rang and rang the doorbell until finally a guy appeared to let me in. First impressions were not bad at all however before I was taken to my room I was asked if I knew this wasn't an...

Warm welcome on arrival by the manager...was instantly made to feel that I could treat it as my own home. Room was nice, clean and comfortable and had all we needed in the one room. Really friendly place with great management and I would highly recommend it to anyone that wants a stress free break.

Where to start? Arrived at this b&b after a night out with friends. From the moment we walked in we were insulted! The manager was rather friendly at 1st a bit over the top but was a pleasant experience compared to what we were about to endure!! The managers girlfriend was just the rudest person ever! Walking about as if...

Stayed one Saturday night and really enjoyed. The room was clean and spacious with a fridge and TV. The owner paul was really friendly and nothing too much trouble for him. Tea and coffee and a kettle in the room was a nice thoughtful touch. Very homely

Was made to feel welcome in this nice clean hotel, was just in a single room for one night as was going to watch the BBC filming a show, lots of free car parking and great free WiFi, about 15 minute drive from central Glasgow and set in a quiet location.

To be honest it's easy to be pernickerty! If you expect hotel standards I would suggest you should go and stay in a hotel! If you are easy going and like a place and host with personality, then this is the place for you! Paul is lovely and so helpful! The rooms are comfy and clean. The views are totally...
