The positives - room was lovely and warm, big bathroom/wet-room and plenty of hot water. I ate half roast chicken, chips and salad, all nice and salad fresh. The negatives - no broadband, although it is advertised. Major problem as I was on a work trip. Cost a lot to use iphone as wifi hotspot and even that was patchy.... More

I only had a pint and a bar snack on the day I checked in, and it was fairly... More

My family and I visited the pub after a long drive back from the coast. We were all starving and just wanted some hot food. As soon as we walked in, there was an unfriendly atmosphere. We ordered our food and waited. Once it arrived we were horrified by the size of the plates and the look of the food.... More

For less than £60 this is a good place to stay - it's no frills. It has free parking and wifi, serves good pub food and the room we had was ample for our purpose. The room itself was very basic but for one night it was fine. It had tea and coffee making facilities and it was clear that... More
