Booked superior room again. The room size is great. But unfortunately this time, we tried to store our medicine in a fridge and freezer. They told us, they do not offered fridge storage service anymore, only able to assist with freezer. We were really disappointed. If you needed such services, pls do reconsider on this hotel booking. And I seriously thought that the 3 stars hotel standard should be reevaluated. And the room door sound proofing is really bad as well. So at the hotel room corridor, when they are guests talking loudly, you will be able to hear it clearly at the room.

Booked this hotel at the last minute, as this was the only hotel available near to BCS mall. The only available room is standard room at 12sq ft with a double bed, a table and a bathroom, no closet only a bar with 3 hangers, 1 face towel and 1 pair of slippers for 2 pax. Bedsheet was not changed from previous guests.
Pros of this hotel is its location, 2 coffee shops and 1 massage outside its door, cross the road to BCS and A2 food centre.

The sheets are not dry, the towels are meant to be broken, the toothbrush and toothpaste seem to have been used, unsanitary, and the door has a strange taste. No standard , I hope to improve. Only the location is good, the shopping center is opposite.

The location of the hotel is right opposite BCS mall. We booked a king bed room. The linen was dirty and we requested to change room. Our 2nd room; the linen was equally dirty thereafter we can't be bother to change since it is only a night stay.
The room that we stayed in was super noisy. From 2am, there was 2 ladies at the level 1 small alley chopping up meat. You could hear the chop chop sound all the way till 6am.
It is not worth to save a little money and have a sleepless night. I will not return to this hotel!

Chose Hotel because it's directly opposite BCS Mall. It's right behind Eatern Foodcourt which has my favourite fish soup n prawn noodle stalls so not a issue that hotel does not provide breakfast.

Hotel provide 2 sets of toothbrush w toothpaste , shampoo n body wash in dispenser, 2 bottled waters, kettle n few Lipton tea bags. I saw a cold/hot water dispenser at near lift at Level 3 though I didn't use it.

My toilet sliding door at Rm304 was not so smooth, so need to use both hands to slide to close it. I paid for King bed room, bedsheets looks used with bit stain n a cigarette hole but clean.

Not sure why they provide 2 bath towels but only 1 hand towel and 1 pair of slippers. But think they will provide additional if you request.
Sharp TV quite a number of channels (think more than 20 listed but I didn't try all). New Mitsubishi Heavy industries aircon ok just the quilt is too thick for me. Occasion noise if workers talk along corridors when clearing check out rooms (I stay over on Thur night).

Abt 8mins walk to Reborn Massage and 15min to local market selling fruits n dried products. For under sgd30/night, it's a value stay.

Checkout at 12noon, took hotel transport at idr70k to Nagoya mall.(same price for taxi fr Batam centre ferry terminal to hotel).

Suppose to take my return Majestic ferry from Batam Centre to Tanah Merah Ferry terminal on Friday 6pm (batam local time )and the broadcast kept showing 'boarding now'at Gate A but nobody at counter. Finally a lady at counter B appear and told us the ferry was cancelled (later she said some problem) and told us (13 of us affected) to take 6.30pm to Batam centre ferry terminal. If she had informed us earlier, we could have taken the 5.30 ferry back to Batam centre.

I chosen Eatern Hotel for its convenient location and value for money!

- Location: 15min taxi drive from Batam ferry center, fare is IDR 70,000. Opposite hotel is the BCS square shopping mall,. 10 steps to the Thai Best massage. Next to the hotel is coffee shop with the famous yam fish soup and fried fish. Just 4min walk to A2 night foods court, 6min walk to BCC wet market.

- Room: Simple, cooling aircon, good water pressure. Tooth brush and towel are provided with two bottles complimentary drinking water. Power plug is 3-pin type and gusts can borrow adapter from counter for charging phone. Wi-Fi speed fair.

- Service: Staff are friendly and fast in check in & out.

- No breakfast provided since many nice and reasonable eateries stores are within few minutes walking distance.

- Overall: Pleassnt and comfortable short stay to explore Batam without cost much to your budget.

I had booked 2 rooms and was given 2nd floor. Room 201 is deluxe and room 205 is superior. Would prefer deluxe room as the room size is much bigger than the price only different by SGD5. If you are a light sleeper, kindly avoid Room 201 as very next to lift. Morning can hear people walking and talking especially if there is children playing around that area. Kindly take note 2nd floor serve as the rest area which allow the hotel guest to sit and relax.

The good point of this hotel is very clean and convenient. Opposite is the BCS shopping mall and below is the food court. Several massage shops around there too. If you like to go wet market, is just a short distant too.
