My whole family stayed in this B&B for the weekend as my boyfriend and I were celebrating our engagement. At arrival they were welcomed in the drawing room with homemade scones, jam, brown bread, salmon and tea. They each received a spacious beautifully furnished ensuite bedroom. They were immaculate and some of the nicest bedrooms I have ever come across....

The place reminded me of a big English victorian house, spacious, neat, homely and with a touch of class. The bedroom was big and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was made to order every morning; best porridge I ever had! The owners, Mike and Pam were very friendly and accomodating. The environment around the place was quiet, serene, peaceful, good for...

Don't hesitate - it's absolutely fantastic! We had the pleasure of staying at Coolefield House during FEI European Championships for Ponies held at Green Glens Arena, Millstreet. We were lucky to get a family room as a last minute cancellation. Mike and Pam are wonderful hosts dedicated in making your stay pleasant, relaxed, joyful, social (if you want), local, cozy,...

Just back from an amazing trip to Co Cork. We started the week feeling somewhat exhausted, with a guide book and some notes my mother had written about her family history. Mike and Pam's amazing knowledge and connections located long lost aunts and distant cousins. All was done with great enthusiasm, gallons of tea and piles of cake, in true...

Atmosphere in Coolefield House was warm, hospitable and very accomodating. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Sit down breakfasts were delicious. We all appreciated yhe location of the inn on a working farm house away from noise of road traffic and crowds. The perfect quiet getaway for large or small groups! We will definitely stay at Coolefield House again whenever...

The owners are incredibly welcoming, they had tea and scones waiting for us upon our arrival. The rooms were lovely and spacious. The breakfast was top notch and made with local produce, it was far superior to anything I had received in any other B&B or hotel. Definitely will be going back at some stage.

I went down here with my boyfriend and another couple. The house is amazing - the rooms are big, comfy and spotlessly clean. Good bathroom facilities. The breakfast is super tasty and all local produce - two of us have food allergies and the owners went above and beyond to make sure we were able to eat food as tasty...

One should not be overly enthusiastic when writing a review as it sounds usually not very credible. However, in this case is it difficult not to be enthusiastic. The location, the house, the room, the breakfast and the hospitality are truly perfect. We enjoyed every minute we stayed at Mike's and Pam's beautiful place. The talks with Mike about Ireland...

We rate Michael and Pam's Coolefiels House as one of the best places to stay in Ireland. During our two week travelling trip we found this to be one of the most delightful places to stay. The house is just beautiful. Tastefully furnished with deep comfy matresses and soft white cotton bedding and fluffy white towels. Warm and cosy with...
