Excellent family run hotel in a peaceful location.
Breakfast was really good and the staff were very friendly,
I would definitely stay here again.
They give free castle tours every day at 630pm.
Lots of free parking on site.
Just a wonderful place on the beautiful Irish west coast. Family owned and run, great rooms with stunning rooms, fantastic food and views to die for....plus its very own castle with great history and a 30 minute walk around with the owner. Brilliant

There are taxis in town but not many, the pubs in town are great but the restaurant in the hotel is one of the best in the area. Pub in the hotel is VERY quiet and you'll find you're often the only one there, but it's very quaint and the service is good. No live music in the hotel pub.
The actual town has a few really good pubs, and it's the centre of music so you'll find it all good fun. Recommend O'Connor's and McGann's (locals' favourites).
