We didn't have a place booked when we came to Doolin, we wanted to find somewhere, and we found the best little spot. Margaret has been running her B&B since the 70's and loves meeting people. She was the the most generous and sweet host I encountered while traveling Europe. She gave us tea and scones with her amazing homemade... More

While traveling Ireland in September we had the good fortune of staying at Emohruo House. Margaret was such a delight! We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. She was a wealth of information on the area and was so fun to chat with. Our room was lovely and clean. We had everything we needed. Breakfast was wonderful.... More

From our arrival to our departing, we had a top notch experience. Our hosts, room, bed, bathroom, and breakfast were absolutely fantastic! Margaret is kind, friendly, sociable and knowledgeable about the area. Very short drive to Doolin and ever shorter walk to the Cliffs made for a simply delightful and memorable stay. Wish we could've stayed longer!

The beginning of our stay in Doolin was a little rough, the first b&b we were suppose to stay in fell through. Thankfully our travel agent quickly arranged for us to stay with Margaret. She is amazing. She made us feel so at home and calm after what was very stressful. She helped us arrange a taxi to McGanns, awesome... More

Finding Emohruo on the outskirts of Doolin was truly lucky for us. One of the first things our hostess, Margaret, said after she greeted us was "we are all friends here" and that is exactly how our stay felt. After visiting for a bit, and helping us settle in, we were given a map and directions to O'Connors Pub for... More

After several days of hiking and a long day of driving, we were so glad to find Margaret. She met us with a smile, was so friendly, and Emohruo offered us exactly what we needed for our two nights: comfortable, quiet, clean space with neat little extra touches. The breakfast was super with four scones (very low on sugar...the way... More

From the moment we walked in to Margaret's B&B, we felt comfortable. Margaret was so friendly and sweet as she gave us tips on places to eat, pubs to visit and things to do. Her breakfast was wonderful, the room large and roomy and very clean. Loved her fresh baked scones and she even wrapped up a couple for us... More

Our stay at Emohruo with Margaret Casey was delightful. When we arrived to check in, we had just come from The Cliffs of Moher and were chilled and exhausted. Margaret invited us in to her parlor, fixed us hot tea and cookies, and sat down to visit with us. Immediately, it felt like we had just dropped by to visit... More

On a chilly, windy day Margaret greeted us with a warm welcome, a turf fire, and wonderful tea and biscuits! So appreciated!! Our room was lovely; spacious, and warmer than other B&Bs we had stayed. Everything was meticulously clean. Very modern bathroom and lovely dining area. We had to depart very early in the morning and told Margaret not to... More

We loved this place. (The name is "our home," spelled backwards.) Margaret greeted us with hot tea and cookies as we relaxed in her living room and discussed our plans to see the nearby Cliffs of Moher. The bedroom was large, with plenty of sunlight, and the most comfortable bed of our trip. The brand new bathroom included beautiful tiles... More
