We stayed 3 nights at Crooked Tree Lodge and had a very enjoyable stay. Our cabana was small but very clean. It had two chairs inside, and two on the porch, where we ended up spending a surprising amount of time enjoying the shade and breeze coming off of Crooked Tree lagoon. No A/C but with windows open and a...

My husband and I rented the large cabin at Crooked Tree Lodge for our first night in Belize (May 2016) and in the morning we both wished we had rented the cabin for a much longer stay! The location of Crooked Tree Lodge is absolutely stunning with a large pond in front and a smaller pond on the side. There...

This year was the third time my husbad and I started our Belize trip with a stay at Crooked Tree Lodge; I neglected to write a review last year, but everything was great again, hence our return at the end of March. We got a warm welcome from Angie and Mick and a hot one from the weather (99.9F). Thankfully,...

When ever we travel to Belize, we stay at Crooked Tree Lodge for a couple of reasons; we have friends who live in the Village, and the bird photography opportunities are outstanding. Mick and Angie Webb own and manage this facility. It sits right on the Lagoon, facing east for some awesome views of sunrises. There are 5 cabanas adjacent...

Mick and Angie do an outstanding job of welcoming and accommodating their guests at their Eco-friendly Lodge. The Morning bird watching trip with Glenn is NOT to be missed!! The location is idyllic, the cabins are comfortable and clean, and the grounds are peaceful and serene.

A lovely place to stay for a couple nights for birding and enjoying views of the lagoon. Meals are very well prepared and delicious. Boat tour of lagoon with guide Robert recommended; he knows his birds and where to find them.

We stayed 4 nights here which was enough time to go on several birding trips: on the lake, at night, and around the village. We also snuck in a day at Lammanai with dinner in Orange Walk Town. Our cabin was small but very comfortable and right on the water. The lodge is fabulous with lots of spots around the...

We spent 3 days here in January 2016. We came here to see birds, and took three early morning trips: a 2-hour walk with Rudy, another with Robert and a 3 hour boat trip with Robert. All were good, and although the birding seemed a little quiet at times, we ended up with 75 species which was pretty reasonable. The...

We loved staying here. We had a bigger cabana that was roomy with nice art, very comfortable bed and pillows and little porch overlooking the lagoon . The food was absolutely delicious and plentiful. Mick and Angie were the perfect hosts , very friendly, kind and helpful. The setting is most beautiful and waking up to many bird calls in...

We went to crooked tree primarily for birding and were pleasantly surprised by the lodge. Did not expect such great hospitality, good food and beautiful facilities. Bedrooms (single cabin) were ridiculously small but this did not distract much from what the place had going for it. Birding was great. Probably best in crooked tree right on property.
