Stayed here last 3 days in June 16 using tesco points. Weather was great and this is a buietiful part of the country. The grounds are nice and there is a nice walk from the hotel. Not much else around though apart from a few houses here and there. Some nice villages within 5 to 10 miles or so, also...

Four of us just stayed at this charming country hotel for three nights for a relaxing break between Christmas and New Year. It's a bit remote, up narrow country lanes, but well worth the effort for the views alone. Waking up in the morning to a spectacular sunrise over the surrounding countryside was amazing. The rooms were very comfortable and...

Don't expect a gym, pool, sauna or spa but revel in the beautiful Devon countryside setting of this lovely hotel. Not a luxurious establishment but comfortable and friendly. It is location to unwind in. When fully relaxed it is an ideal location to explore Exeter and the Devon coast. Most importantly the hotel is very dog friendly.

We were very fortunate to receive a raffle prize donated by The Lord Haldon for dinner for 6 people at their VIP evening recently. The room was beautifully decorated as were the tables. The service was second to none, very impressive, the courteous waiting staff very accommodating and the food was excellent. Three wonderful courses of tasty food. The Lord...

A classic and charming country hotel. It's a little hard to find in the dark. Quite a trip from the airport on winding roads, which can be a bit slippery in December. However, once you find the hotel it's full on country manor charm. The rooms are clean and cozy. Comfortable beds, plush towels and a lovely big tub, shower...

Had a tasty bar meal, breakfast was freshly cooked to order and was also good. Tricky to get through lanes but not impossible, took me 15 mins to get into centre Exeter. Was value...

Fortunate enough to have stayed in the Summer and this time on a lovely crisp Winters evening. The Hotel's a beautiful building in a stunning setting with views from miles over the countryside and on a sunny frosty morning it's amazing. Staff excellent as always, nothing's too much trouble. Dinner was delicious, all of it ! Breakfast cooked to order,...

This is a beautiful hotel. It is an old English style manner house and keeps it looks and feel. The view in the morning is stunning. Breakfast was great and offer everything I could want and I am fussy.

Stayed here for one night on a business trip with my dog in tow. The room was clean and tidy, and the bed comfortable. All the staff were brilliant and made both myself and my dog very very welcome, would defiantly stay again.
