This friendly couple have gone to great lengths to provide a high quality B&B experience that is something of a home from home. Clean, contemporary decor with very generous sleeping area, own fridge, microwave and ample tea / coffee, fresh milk. There is a bath which is lovely for those who complete the 23 mile walk from Braunton on the...

I cannot recommend this lovely place high enough. From first arrival, and being greeted very warmly, to the lovely decorated rooms and dining conservatory, our hosts looked after us beautifully. A real home from home!

Myself and my Fiancee were attending a wedding in Beaconside house and we stayed here for 4 nights. It was a fantastic B&B and Joanne was a fantastic host. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay, it is only a 20 minute walk to Westward Ho! where there are lots of eateries and bars. The breakfast menu...

This year I had to sail from Bideford for the first time and was stumped about where to stay. Found a reccomendation on Simon Dell's website for Lydshaw B & B not far out of Bideford at Northam, and we were not disappointed. It was an ideal place to start our Lundy holiday. Joanne and Jem warmly welcomed us with...

From the warm welcome and a much needed cup of tea after a long journey to the lovely bedroom, with the breathtaking views. Everything spotlessly clean. Breakfast delicious especially the strawberries from the garden. Unfortunately only stayed one night as we visited for a family funeral, but we will definitely be back for a longer break in this wonderful b&b....

We stayed here for two nights as a weekend break. Joanne and Jem couldn't have been any more helpful or friendly; nothing was too much trouble, from lending us walking books to helping me rinse off my wet suit. Would definitely come again.
