Our second visit to this charming country hotel Stunning views on arrival when parking the car, then a warm welcome from our host Alison. We stayed in the same room again, all the usual amenities, and beer & homemade cake upon arrival Relaxing nights sleep, followed by a cracking breakfast! Full English prepared too perfection. Even the eggs were fresh... More

Alison is so welcoming - nothing is too much trouble. The rooms have everything you could possibly need. The full English breakfast is the best I have ever had - easily beats the best hotel. Really good location to visit north-west Wales. Have stayed many times before and will return again.

Lovely host, the room was lovely, spacious and the power shower was amazing. Cakes were a lovely touch. Big car park. 10 min drive to Tremadog for pub food, the Golden Fleece £13 a head, food really nice. Breakfast was the best breakfast we had all week, sausage and bacon really tasty. definitely would stay again

We stayed for two nights here & I cannot fault a single thing about this B&B. Alison is a fantastic host & has just got everything spot on when it comes to looking after her guests. Stayed for one night as we were visiting nearby Portmeirion. The welcome we received was second-to-none. Our room was quite small but immaculately clean and well-appointed. The en suite had an extra long bath which I enjoyed luxuriating in during the evening. Alison was very keen to make us feel welcome and her friendly yet professional style made us feel... More

My family and I were taking a weekend break in Wales for my brothers 40th. My mother (the organiser) booked everyone in to the travel lodge.... But I decided, to have a bit of a shop about. I found Bwlch Y fedwen purely by accident. It was cheaper and looked nice enough so I decided to give it a go.... More
