I stayed at Channel View for a week and had a wonderful time. The studio suite is beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. I enjoyed watching the sun rise over the channel each morning and the room was tended to well during my stay without interrupting me. Mary and Ron are kind and welcoming hosts. They made delicious breakfasts each morning and...

We've never stayed in a cleaner, more comfortable bed and breakfast. We booked three days in the 1 bedroom apartment and it was spotless. Our host corresponded with us and worked to accommodate us after we changed our dates several times, and then allowed us to check back in early on our third (separate) day. They could not have been...

Owner charged double the CONFIRMED price and hung up on me when I asked her to meet me half way. Booked the apartment, advertised as $100 per night when semi confirmed It was $135. Decided that was ok and confirmed. Owner sent a final confirmation charging $302 total, so booked car to get to the B&B. A week later owner...

HARDLY “BAIT AND SWITCH,” but definitely a short term glitch with our online availability calendar displaying rates that temporarily did not reflect accurately the high/low seasonal rates. Several reservations for next summer 2017 were affected by this error and individuals were notified, with our apologies, as soon as the problem was discovered. Our rates have always compared favorably with hotels...

From the welcome stone on the front steps to the chocolate by the bedside to the beautiful table settings at breakfast, every little detail in this lovely home invites guests to relax and enjoy their time away. Mary and Ron are friendly, warm, and knowledgeable and invited me to join them on hikes, mini-shopping excursions, and gave great suggestions for...

Proprietors, Mary and Ron were super helpful and generous. Mary was meeting a friend at Ft. Abercrombie and allowed us to ride along. Breakfast provided daily in the refrigerator when our time was limited. Mary cooked breakfast and we ate in the nook - enjoyed their conversation and information of Kodiak.

A Channel View B&B is a home away from home in Kodiak. Mary and Ron are gracious hosts and breakfast is not only delicious but a work of art served with an exceptional view of the harbor. They have lived on Kodiak Island for many years and provided a great resource about where to go and what to see. The...

What a fantastic B&B on the beautiful Kodiak Island. Mary and Ron were great hosts with superb attention to detail. From the moment that I walked in on my arrival, I was made to feel right at home. The Seaglass room was excellent with amazing views over the channel towards Near Island. The breakfasts were oh so scrumptious! even the...

I recently stayed 5 days at Channel View and appreciated the care I received from both hosts, especially making sure that I knew all the great options for a visit including bike rentals, hikes, harbor tours, local guides, best restaurants and local yoga classes. Staying at Channel View immediately connected me to the history of the town as host Mary...

Our visit to A Channel View Bed and Breakfast was so much more than just a "stay," it was an experience. The accommodations were impeccable...but what really made our visit special was the unmatched hospitality of Ron and Mary.
