We visited the Inn on the Shore after a lovely walk from Seaton along the beach to Downderry. From the beach the Inn on the Shore looks rather precarious perched right on the cliff top. A very easy walk up an access road and through the lovely town memorial garden leads right past the Inn. The interior is modern and...

Really enjoyed our pub meal at this unassuming Inn. We had a great meal at this Inn, really well cooked steak with beautiful salad and a Stilton sauce! My husband reported the beer was well kept and he asked the bar man to pull a pint with a sparkler for the northern beer drinker! Apparently that means the beer had...

We really loved this pub, we were staying near by and the pub was a stones throw away. We ate there two nights, the first night we both had burger and sweet potato French fries. The burger was good but the sweet potato French fries were amazing. The second time that we ate there we had steaks, both of which...

We very much enjoyed our meal out at this pub. They were apologetic that some of the windows had faulty double glazing but accommodated us perfectly well in the bottom section. Food was delicious - particularly the sea bass with green Thai noodles and the pork belly. All three kids were well looked after and enjoyed their meals. We nearly...

one hour after ordering mussels and a burger they finally arrived. Tasted Ok but the wait put us off our food. 7,45pm order. 8,45 for food to arrive. Apparently the terminal hadn't posted the order to the kitchen because of a malfunctioning printer. We were offered a free drink as an apology but safe to say we won't be going...

The Inn is in need of some serious TLC. Our room was very basic, the double glazed window had blown, the grouting on the shower tiles was black in places, wet towels hung on the bathroom door, the sink was cracked and someone in the room next door (presumed to be a member of staff) was noisy until 2am on...

Booked a table for lunch for a 21st birthday, we arrived early to decorate around table. After removing the cob webs to put up bunting and cleaning sticky table we hoped food would be better. Decor was tired and table and chairs old. We were in the conservatory and window sill had large hole in it. Waitress seemed confused when...
