My wife and I spent two nights at the Bridgend Hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The hotel is very centrally located on Islay, being 12-15 miles from all the main places to visit. Booking direct with the hotel was easy and on arrival the manager, Lorna, had taken the time to write us a card wishing us Happy Anniversary....

My wife, son and I had a superb time at the Bridgend Hotel on the gorgeous island of Islay. Our rooms were well appointed, the food was very, very good, the service highly professional and really friendly. Special thanks to the manager Lorna. We can't wait to go back.

Thank you very much for your kind review. Lorna and the Hotel team take every effort, I know, to make our guests feel welcome. Equally in sourcing our produce as locally as possible, much of it from the Estate and our own Farm we are confident of offering really good food. All of our staff take pleasure in looking after...

We stayed here last night with our dog Honey on trip over to Islay and Jura. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. All of the staff were fantastic and all made us and the dog feel really welcome. The hotel manager came to introduce herself and say hello and despite there being a group meal booking of 30 the night...

Absolutely amazing stay, Lorna and the staff couldn't have friendlier. The food was all locally sourced and much of the menu was gluten-free. The bed and shower were also amazing. All in all a fantastic stay. Thanks Lorna and team, we'll definitely be back!!

We have eaten four evening meals at Bridgend over the last four years and are always delighted by the experience. Lorna is an excellent host and her own high standards are reflected in the quality of her staff. The main restaurant is light and spacious with superb artwork on the walls. Staff are knowledgeable about the drinks they sell and...

Over the years I have watched this hotel change from and old fashioned run down hotel to one which is beautifully appointed and which serves excellent food. The decor is homely modern Scottish. The front of house team led by manager Lorna are first class. They are genuinely welcoming, and they know their drinks and food menu inside out. Hotels...
