We recently completed a 2600-km motorcycle ride around Colombia and we stayed at the Casa Belle Epoque in Colombia. The owners were very helpful, the food was great, the rooms were nice, and the pool was magnificent. The owners had secure parking for the motorcycles. This hotel added a lot to the experience of visiting this magnificent country. Highly recommended.

Situated in an old colonial house, every room is different and the old courtyard is beautiful. Honda is also a beautiful and quiet town and it is very easy to walk around, enjoy the atmosphere and the surrounding nature. The owner will walk with you, explain things and share his enthusiasm about this charming little town.

Hotel casa Belle Epoque is located in front of the market in the center of Honda, 2 blocks from the Magdalena River (which was the key driver of the economic development in Colombia, because the river communicates the center of the country with the caribbean sea at the north). At the hotel you can find comfortable rooms with view to... More

It felt great to arrive at the Casa Belle Epoque after a long journey! The hotel is beautifully decorated, relaxing and the owner really goes out of his way to make sure you have everything you need (lending us umbrellas for the rain, reserving at a restaurant including menu recommendations, suggestions for Colombian books and music)! The breakfast was delicious,... More

This small boutique hotel is lovingly managed by its owner, a Colombian with international perspective and a gift for hospitality. The colonial style building is set in the historic center of the pretty and well-preserved river port city of Honda. The hotel maintains a "belle epoque" ambiance but with contemporary comforts like air conditioning. The staff gave valuable advice on... More

I enjoyed my stay here. Loved the owners and the entire experience. I thought the place was a tad expensive for Colombia. For $20US less per night, it would be a total gem. However, I don't regret staying here. It was quite nice.

Honda is not really on the tourist list but certainly worth stopping in to break the long bus journey up, the staff are fantastic, the place is like a little oasis quiet, stylish, lovely pool and jacuzzi, in fact all the communal areas in this colonial building are lovely. I would give it 5* but the two beds we tried... More
