A beautiful B & B. We were made most welcome and nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. The room was beautiful, lacked for nothing and was extremely comfortable. A delicious breakfast was delivered to our room in the morning. Excellent value for money.

I felt very privileged and lucky to be the first customer of the newly opened b&b from its new owners. The room I stayed in was superb! I cant fault it. There was a great selection of tea and coffee and a drinks cooler to keeps things cool. The b&b is on the edge of the village and the views...

We were hoping to stay here but alas, it has closed. It sounds as though it was a lovely place. Very sorry that we missed it. But there are many other very nice places to stay in this area whether you are simply passing by on your way north or south or enjoying this special part of England

Wonderful! Everything you would want and more. Back for our 3rd stay in December. Can't wait. Luxurious bedrooms and scrummy breakfasts. Handy for the lakes, Carlisle and Scotland. Worth the 6 hour drive from Torquay.

I stayed here on business for a period of 4 nights The B&B has Wi-Fi which works fine for Netflix and so forth but didn't like more than 1 device connected at once. Mobile phone reception is also very limited. This is the best B&B I have ever stayed in. By the end it was almost like I was just...

A friend and I have recently had our fourth visit to Sandra & John's great B&B. As usual we got a very warm welcome, helpful advice, clean comfortable bedrooms, good breakfast (fruit salad is very welcome, along with all the usual offerings) in this quiet spot handy for the M6 and lots of lovely places in various direction. We stayed en route from Scotland. We were searching for a 'green tourism' place and Google came up with The Green by virtue of its name! However it was situated just at the right point of our journey and it worked out well. Johnny and Sandra are a most welcoming couple who ensure that their guests every need is met....

We stayed with John and Sandra as we needed accommodation in a the area whilst in the area to attend my wife's father's funeral. As others have said, John and Sandra met all our needs and beyond. Even thinking hard I cannot come up with any improvement needed. Excellent!!!

This lovely B&B is a real find. It is set in the beautiful and peaceful Cumbrian countryside on the edge of the village with views to the fells - yet close to Carlisle and the M6. Sandra and Johnny are very friendly and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble and every need is catered for. Johnny is particularly knowledgeable about...

My wife and I stay here regularly as it's within easy reach of Carlisle racecourse and quite frankly we wouldn't think of staying anywhere else in the area. Johnny and Sandra are the most welcoming of hosts and the rooms are spotless. The range of toiletries provided is outstanding and the beds always comfortable. Nothing ever seems to be too...
