The golf course is beautiful with views to rival any, anywhere. The signature hole provides a spectacular view of the Bras d'Or Lakes but is only one view of many that take your breath away. The lodge hotel rooms could use some refreshing but the dining room was large and also provides views of the Bras d'Or Lakes. We had...

Restaurant is understaffed, long wait for food. We had a "deluxe" room, decor is from the 70's, furniture very dated, room in need of repair, scratches on walls and doors. comfy though, but would not go back or recommend.

We were looking forward to kayaking on the lake, but summer season in Nova Scotia starts in July so this was one of several disappointments along the way. The cabin was nice and airy and the beds were good. It got chilly overnight and the heat came on, but we couldn't figure out how to turn it off when it...

We recently enjoyed a short mid week trip to Cape Breton and choose Dundee resort for our night. The rate of the day we booked directly with the resort by phone included a full breakfast for two making it a very reasonable get a way. Our room was in the main lodge and was clean and comfortable although very dated....

We stayed for 4 days in a cabin at Dundee Resort. The cabins are out of date and in need of repair. The kitchen arrangement was very bad. the restaurant served good breakfast portions reasonably well cooked. I ate dinner in the restaurant. The salmon was overcooked & the wine was much too cold. in summary, not quite up to...

Although we went to CB for a family reunion, we wanted to have a place to have time for ourselves with our boys (17/19) and not be pining for their friends! This was a great option. Although the resort is getting a bit older, the new clubhouse was lovely. What a view! We did 2 9 hole rounds together- had...

My husband and I stayed here one night because we couldn't find any place else to stay near Port Hawkesbury after the opening ceremonies for the Celtic Colours festival. We entered our room after quite a lengthy wait while the host was trying to figure out which wheelchair accessible room to give us. Can't figure this out because we had...

Imagine checking into a room that has a musty smell, no wifi as advertised (in the main building). Obviously the owners of this property are only interested in milking it for whatever they can get out of it, without investing in any kind of maintainace or upkeep at all. We had dinner and breakfast here as well, simply for convenience...

We just stayed one night. The location is beautiful but the place seemed in need of an upgrade. If you wanted to golf I'm sure it would be fine but we went to rent the kayaks and explore. The rental shop was not open on Wednesdays(the day we were there) so we went for a swim. The bottom was rocky, muddy with...

The roads in the area weren't very nice at night (on our way to the hotel). When we got to it, we were very impressed - it looked so nice from the outside. We parked the car and checked in -- and were very unimpressed with the room. Room was huge but with a very poor layout -- beds to...
