We stayed here for four nights and thoroughly enjoyed the accommodation and food. The setting of the camp is stunning and we saw monkeys, wild pigs and a taper in the camp itself during our time here. We thoroughly recommend the tubing activity which was great fun in the heat. Sadly I cannot give five stars because we were disappointed... More

First of all it must be stated that this place is simply beautiful. In our five days there we enjoyed complete immersion in the jungle environment. We saw many types of monkeys, wild pigs,a tapir, snakes, and countless birds, insects and plants. The food was some of the best we have eaten in Bolivia and is all from locally sourced... More

Norman the tour guide is amazing and seems to be able to spot animals hidden in treetops at 100 yards (I think he is actually an eagle given his amazing eyesight). You couldn't see one tenth of the stuff without him. Awesome food and great accommodation. Staff are incredible also. You will get to see loads of animals here -... More

This really is a great trip - worth the money and the time investment! We did the BIWA option (5 days, 4 nights) and it was excellent. Our guide (Alejandro) was from the local indigenous community and grew up in this part of the jungle – he knew all the different animal calls and helped us to find them in... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our jungle trip from start to finish! We booked via email and Alex in the office was very helpful and prompt and had good English. We chose the 'Tareche' 3day/2night trip. The price included taxi transfer from Rurrenabaque airport to the ecolodge office in Rurrenabaque for checkin and on to our hostel (we arrived the evening before... More

We loved this community based enterprise in the heart of Madidi - the 3 hour boat ride up the river, the walks, exploring Santa Rosa lake, Antonio the pet Tapir, the two macaws I managed to photograph, the hundreds of other birds and insects we saw. Our guide Alejandro looked after us, and opened our eyes to the wonder of... More

I would definitely recommend this stop if you have time. Our guide, Alejandro, was very knowledagble. I think the best part of this place was the food. All meals were absolutely amazing. Tubing was a blast and the hikes were great.
