I've reviewed this hotel before and I've given a lower rating as the attitude of the management was shocking. The interior decoration in the bedroom which was was lovely has been removed and that was disappointing for a start as it's only two years since my last visit. The mattress was thin the shower is in a small cubicle. When...

Overnight stop on the camino and having stayed in some less than salubrious accommodation, this was such a welcome. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Great food, lively atmosphere, spacious room with a "proper" double bed with quality bed linen and towels. Scrambled eggs for breakfast instead of the usual coffee & toast and a sandwich and bottle of water...

This place has an albergue, a hotel and a restaurant. This is pretty much all you'll find in the small village of Lires. If you're doing the Camino and want to split into 2 the way between Finisterre and Muxía here's your place. The premises are cleaned and food is very good, waiters friendly and kind. One km away outside...

I didn't sleep at As Eiras, but I did stop in for a filling lunch. Even though it was raining, I still was able to enjoy a quiet table on the patio, protected from the inclement weather. It was somewhat chaotic inside the restaurant with a seeming overwhelmed staff tending to an onslaught of pilgrims arriving/departing. The patio provided some...

Halving walked all day in terrible weather we arrived at the hotel half drowned. The hotel staff were exceedingly welcoming and helpful. The rooms were clean with great views to the sea. The bar was friendly and lively and the restaurant tasty and efficient. Breakfast the next morning was the best we had that week in Spain. The total bill...

We stayed there on Saturday, May 28th, three old guys from Israel , just about to finish the camino, started in Pamplona. We were greeted by Claudia who was very friendly and helpful. The facilities are really high class for an albergue and the food in the restaurant was excellent. We highly recommend it!

Great staff, full service except laundry, rain showers are glorious, pilgrims menu as well as other options. I would upgrade this to a boutique because of all the amenities. Know some Spanish or get use to hand signals. Huge veranda, lots of sun or shade depending on your preference. Nice to get to know others who travel with you too.

My stay at the Albergue at As Eiras was top class, friendly and helpful service..a beautiful haven to rest after walking from Finisterre or Muxia. I would recommend a lazy afternoon on the decking overlooking the atlantic in the distance. A beautiful memory on my Camino. Code AELSR167

This restaurant in the small village of Lires on the Camino from Finnisterre to Muxia is certainly the best dining experience I have had on our trip. The salad was fresh from the garden. We had various tapas. My favourite was small green peppers, maybe stir fried. We were also served hake and chicken with potatoes. Dessert was Galician cake...

we stopped for coffee at the hostel while on our way from Muxia to Fisterra. The family running this hostel were so nice and so accommodating that we stayed for the night. It was the best experience of our trip. The atmosphere was so nice the food (Dinner and Breakfast) was excellent. We really recommend this place for anyone doing...
