We booked three rooms for three nigths on low season mid may for 290$ per night per room. and one of us told the owner the day before arrival that one night for one of the three rooms should be cancelled for urgent appointment with a doctor.. She REFUSED and not even agreed for a discount. Breafeast on top is 40 $ per room.

The place is well located, clean, well maintained and isolated. However is is a bit outdated and over priced. The pool is small and looks clean. However all of us got bitten by something we couldnt see in the water. Again, the water looks very clean.

We stayed for two nights. Two families with three kids each. I'm sorry to say that the bad outweigh the good and I will probably not be back. Hopefully for them it was a matter of getting back up to speed after the Corona downtime. First the good - location is nice, but there is no view of the Kineret. Good proximity so some hiking trails. Nice local grocery shot for the necessities (and whatever was forgotten at home). The welcoming was nice and hospitable with some water bottles already in the fridge. There is cable TV (YES) in the living room and bedroom. Airconditioning and Wifi. Jacuzzi in each room - in our group there was one in the living room and one on the balcony/terrace (better). The less nice - the place can hold many more people than the logistics can handle. The pool is very small and only a meter deep throughout. Also not enough chairs for everyone. There is a common area to prepare food (bbq/mangal) with a few tables, but even when we were there it was too crowded. One shared "big" fridge which we were not able to share as all was taken up, but still, there is a fridge in each cabin (although both of the cabins had different quality of fridges). We had to take turns on the bbq/mangal and since they a bigger group and started earlier, we had to carry to food back to the cabin in bunches. There is no cleaning of the rooms, although I've read in other reviews they do it every three days if you stay longer. Not that great, but they still do give enough towels/soaps/shampoo/etc. All rooms can hear all the noise of kids from the pool. Breakfast can be ordered - however, it is overpriced considering the quality. They do bring a lot of quantity, but we ended up throwing a lot of it in the trash unfortunately.

Through the years I've stayed here 5 times and I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else in this area. Out of Africa is like a small oasis in the built up moshav where most owners rent out zimmer. The rooms are spacious and the kitchenette offers you space should you be inclined to prepare your own lunch or dinner. The beds are large and comfortable and the bathroom is spotless. We've always had a bedroom upstairs with a balcony looking out over the Kinneret. I've also enjoyed swimming in the pool or just reading a book poolside. During those times I've never had to share to pool with other guests or children. The breakfast is freshly made and enormous, even for Israeli standards. Amalia will do anything to make your stay comfortable and she's a great hostess. The last 2 times I stayed here she gave me vouchers (for 2 people) for the wonderful restaurant V, which is located in the next village. This was for a 3 course dinner including the wine. Needless to say I will be back and I would award Out of Africa 10 stars if possible.

This was our 3rd year visiting Out of Africa. We went from visiting as a couple to spending a few days with a 1.5 year old and then again with 2 young children. Each year gets better and better. The place is clean, fun for kids of all ages and safe too. The hosts are amazing and can help you with anything including providing recommendations of what to do in the area. We look forward to visiting again with an even bigger family!

I am not into writing reviews, BUT for this place I will make an exception. The resort itself is beautiful and Amalia who runs it is so kind, and so welcoming. We stayed for 2 days in the "spa" room which was very big and really special. This place isnt a hotel, or a Zimmer, it is something else. It is a mini resort where you feel a million miles from anywhere. The pool is situated in the middle and it is a perfect size, and the outdoor cooking areas are amazing (the choice of gas or coal grill is an extra touch). It is so clean there, so refreshing and so relaxing. Whether you are a couple looking for a romantic break or a family with young children, this is the place for you. Thank you Amalia for a wonderful trip!

We had a great 2 days 1 night get away at the out of Africa resort. Amalia is a very nice and lovely host. The room was amazing with an very big jacuzzi and sauna just like on the pictures. Amalia pays attention to every detail and it was very clean and welcoming. The pool area is very beautiful decorated and has a barbecue place to have a nice dinner. Overall I can highly recommend this place and will definitely come back!
