Lovely hotel in a fantastic location. Great getaway if you want to relax and enjoy the Greek sea and sun for a few days. Quiet, comfortable rooms (though a bit on the small side), very nice breakfast, polite staff. Don't forget to also try the fish restaurant right next door!

Woke up to the sound of the sea gently lapping against the rocks outside our window. Lovely sea views from rooms bathrooms a little cramped but pretty. Enjoyed the historical information and artefacts in the reception area. Great breakfast freshly squeezed juice lovely locally made delicacies including local smoked meat. Staff especially Georgia very attentive and helpful and made to...

Excellent location, next to the sea which you can see from your room window! Very comfortable, with some luxury though some rooms are small. Very good breakfast with some local ingredients, every day they have a different plate.

Wonderful tower shaped building, very polite house keeper, nice breakfast, amazing rooms just 2 meters above and in front of the sea with an amazing view and hearing of the water waves and birds singing during your sleep! Blue-green sea in front of the hotel and Areopolis the historic and picturesque medieval castle town being 10 min drive away! Life's experience! Strongly suggest!

We were here just for one night but we were really impressed by the view from our windows that gives you the impression to be directly into the sea. Rooms are in an historical building built just above a green/light blue sea. Personnel is very kind and tried to help you in every possible way. We rarely saw such a...

This was the most expensive hotel we stayed in during our Greek holiday and was double the price of similar (nicer) hotels in Nafplio and Monemvasia, which are tourist hotspots. Limeni is a rather stunning little place, which I suppose might explain the price premium, but I still can't see how the Mavromichalai's prices can be justified, especially as our...

This hotel is the home of Petrobeys Mavromichalai: If you know anything about Greek History you will know he was a big figure and very important to the Greek Revolution against Turkish rule. The hotel is beautifully maintained and has kept the lovely historic architectural elements: The walls are so thick because when the were doing construction they left the...

Staying in a historic building like this, so well restored and comfortable, with a stunning view of the bay was very special. Our room and small bathroom were very well appointed. The public areas are beautiful. The staff were nice and exceptionally helpful, especially Georgia. The small breakfast kitchen seemed to make it hard for the staff to meet everyone's...

Great room overlooking the sea, extremely comfortable bed and wonderfully welcoming hosts. We will certainly return. Georgia was a particularly conscientious and helpful lady who couldn't do enough for us.
