I received a cancellation notice from Canada Stays via email in which they cancelled my reservation due to a double booking only 12 hours before we were to arrive. Canada Stays did not offer any alternative accommodations and basically left us to find our own. Even after I sent a couple of emails to Canada Stays requesting alternative places to...

Hello Dwayne The problem ls with Canada stays not my company. I require a credit card to confirm a reservation and i wasn't given one not from you or Canada stays. I do not hold a room without credit card information. Sorry for the inconvience this may have caused you. If you would have dealt with me directly this would...

Reasonable quality, well maintained housekeeping cabins. Great service from owner with a minor plumbing issue- fixed immediately and followed up. We stayed 3 nights to fit in L'Anse Aux Meadows and St Anthony's. We also hiked on Burnt Cape Ecological Reserve - "Arctic Barrens", A great experience - we brought our own food and cooked in the cabin.

The cabins are well equipped and comfortable. Kitchen facilities allow you to eat in or you can try the restaurant/bar/general store about 100 metres away. Excellent meals served (breakfast too) and the owner operators are very friendly and helpful with tips on visiting the local attractions.

We stayed here for 3 nights with our destination being L'Anse aux Meadows on the northern peninsula of Newfoundland. Raleigh is a quiet, friendly fishing village with the Burnt Cape Cafe and Store being the only retail outlets in the area. The cabins were very comfortable and had every convenience we could want including a washer and dryer (a real...

Our stay was in a two bedroom cottage which was well appointed, recently updated, clean and comfortable. We had a very enjoyable meal in the restaurant one evening, and otherwise used the kitchen facilities to prepare our meals. We were glad of the washer and dryer as it was pretty wet coming back from our tramping around and dry clothes...

We stayed in the vacation home, which is the private home of the owner (he lives in a nearby RV all summer!) Anyway the vacation home is right across the road from the harbor, you can throw a rock into the bay from your deck. You get a great view of the fishing boats coming into the dock and also...

We only stayed one night at this resort but it was a stay that we will not soon forget. The accommodations are logged cabins. They are spacious, well decorated and located near the water. The owners, wife and husband solely operate the resort. The husband is the cook in the restaurant and the wife is the waitress. They are also the...

The cabins here are great with a super fire pit by Ha Ha Bay. We stayed at a cabin in late August 2016 and had car problems. Ted and everybody else were very helpful letting us tie up their phone line while we found a solution. They were able to accomodate us for an extra night.

We rented a 2 bedroom unit which very clean and comfortable. There was a washer and dryer in the cabin which was a nice perk. The beds were very comfortable. Ted and Marina were wonderful hosts. We were there for 4 nights. One evening Ted built a fire in the beach fire pit and let people in the cabins know....

Burnt Cape was a surprising find near St. Anthony. We were looking for a place to stay with good walking and a relaxed atmosphere. These cabins offered both. An easy 20 minute drive from St. Anthony, Burnt Cape was a great home base for whale watching and visiting the area. The cabin was extremely comfortable with one of the best...
