We stayed here for 1 night as a birthday surprise. The grounds of the hotel are fabulous. Nestled within the Port Lympne reserve you have access to the animals when you want. The grounds are immaculate and well catered for and includes a maze. The views are really good to

Just back from a night in one of Port Lympne's "Tree houses". These are more "little house up a hill surrounded by trees" than "tree-house" but none the less are super comfortable and really nicely furnished. Ours was snug and warm despite yesterday being one of the worst days

Is one night here enough to see everything?
Hi, I think the answer is yes if you just want the overall experience of the safaris and the animal park in general, with dinner in the hotel or the Italian restaurant in the grounds. If however like us, you are interested in staying in one of the animal lodges and focusing on one animal in particular (we stayed in tiger lodge for one night of our two night stay), then you spend so much time watching these amazing creatures that you probably need two nights overall. The lodges are understandably much more expensive than the hotel so spending one night in each was a really good idea.

Is one night here enough to see everything?
Short answer is no. To take all the park, gardens, animals and different activities available, you really need two days. But if you just settle for the Safari ride and gardens you probably could. Very large park, quite hilly and several walking routes.

Safari tours are all year, but frequency varies with demand and the types and quantity of animals varies with weather and time of day

Do you need to make a reservation in the Babydolls restaurant?
No harm in doing so especially if going during summer and other busy periods. If you're staying at PL I'm sure you'll love the whole experience and also try to go to Howletts (entry often included in package) to see Babydoll gorilla - a right grand old lady!
