Firstly it was good to have a nonfroth flat white coffee that was hot. The banana muffins and very nice. The current owners have only been here at 7 weeks. They are getting local beer on tap today produced by a local young entrepreneur. They will be starting beer and pizza tonight which is Friday and serving dinner Friday's and... More

This cottage is well located in the middle of the island, south coast. We spent a night in the hostel, which is cheap. You can cook in there. The rooms deserve a good clean up. Floor is cleaned out often, but dust is everywhere. Staff is friendly and useful. Cuisine average.

We came to kangaroo island, 2 adults and 2 children.. We stayed 3 nights and it was so relaxing and with such good amenities. It is nearby seal bay and other tourist attractions and not so far from an amazing national park. Flinders Chase. which has so much unique wildlife. When we first arrived, the sheets and towels were missing... More

Stayed there for 3 nights. Very close to seal bay and other attractions. The cabins are surrounded by beautiful nature. Price was reasonable and the staff was very friendly and attentive to our request. Perfect place for nature getaway.

My partner and I stayed here in early March and found it was a lovely place for a little trip away. The cottages were clean and cosy and located in such a beautiful spot! Staff were very friendly and welcoming, they were always very willing to help in any way they could. Not having been to Kangaroo Island before, the... More

We visited this restaurant twice and we had the same experience twice. High price, slow service, food could be better for this price and food was COLD. On the positive side, location is great. They could do so well with such a nice place. Verdict: a bunch of amateurs running a restaurant!

The rooms were dirty, particularly the bathroom. Beds looked as though they had been slept in before. Mismatched linen and poorly presented. Food in the restaurant very average. Salad was not provided with any meal. You were served chips and whatever meat you chose, that looked very unappealing to eat. Not a healthy choice. When asked about salad, stated that... More

This was an ideal place to stay - if you are self contained and on a budget. Not sure about the cafe - we could not get past the smell of hot oil - so decided not to use it. We were left pretty much to our devices which suited us. The accommodation is compact (bijou) - but very cleverly... More
