I visited Adeline Villa with my friends on 20 Feb 2020 for a 2D1N package. Our first time there. It is located at the outskirt of Ipoh in a hilly area surrounded by trees. 45 mins drive from Ipoh airport. The customer service was great and we were welcomed by the owner, Adeline, upon arrival. Our meals were simply delicious and never lacking in quantity. Dinner was a BBQ of all sorts of meats and veg. Breakfast menu was all local favours but very sumptuous. Lunch was a buffet with many varieties. Good food is one aspect of the stay. Another aspect of our stay is the adventure thrills. We tried the white water rafting. 2-3 hours long. Highly recommended! I did not try the caving activity as I was worried about the bat colony in the cave having their Wuhan relatives visiting. 4 of my friends who tried said it was very good & exciting. We also tried the night walk in the forest. It was NOT a walk in the park but it is definitely worth trying. Be careful of leeches. Our last activity was visiting the waterfall. Simply awesome! Must try!! The enormous impact of the water falling on your head and back while you stand against the wall of the waterfall was simply unforgettable. We stayed in room 315 and 316. It was clean but do not expect 4 or 5 Star accommodation. There is no TV or any table in the rooms. You can watch TV in the cafe which opens from 7 pm to about midnight. Beer is sold there. We spent about S$150 per pax for food, accommodation, the few activities. Airport transfer is about RM$100 per van. Need to bring mosquito repellent. All in, I think it is a great place to get away from the bustle and hustle of city life. If one wants to try all the adventure activities, 3D2N is recommended.

Drove up from KL for a 2D1N trip. The route into Adeline’s from Gopeng town is rather narrow, with lots of blind turns and can be tricky to navigate: so fair warning ahead on this. But the distance is short and you’ll arrive fairly quickly.

The lodgings is really nice: simple, homely, clean. Certain things are a bit old and need repairing but nothing major that really affected our stay.

The surroundings is pretty nice and calming. It’s nice to hear the crickets at night! It’s a pretty rocky and hilly area to get around to your villa, so if you or a family member have mobility issues, best to check with them beforehand.

FOOD. IS. SO. GOOD. It wasn’t all around amazing, some dishes could be better, but really all around it was just delicious. The dishes were often simple recipes but tasted heavenly. Take the BBQ option for dinner if you can. Or you might also be able to add it on if you didn’t book it but realised it smelled too good to resist.

There are also plenty of activities for you to do, so it’s never boring!

Lastly, Adeline is simply the sweetest and nicest person ever. She goes around to check if everything’s alright from your lodgings to your food, and her staff is also so friendly. 10/10 would come back again.

This was a short 2 day one night trip which included stay (triple room, meals (bf,l,d), caving, white water rafting, night hike.

All was 5 star hospitality.
But the main aim of my post is the sumptuous vegetarian food !

It’s sometimes frustrating for vegetarians to go on a holiday due to diet restrictions. Some places just serve us fried rice while they serve others with a 8 course dinner.
This was certainly not the case at Adeline’s.

We were served at least 6 dishes on each meal. Good spread and variety. The full deal; appetisers, soup, ample mains and desserts.

I think the attached pictures will speak for themselves.

The accommodations at Adeline's villa exceeded our expectations. Our room was beautifully designed, spacious, and equipped with modern amenities. The comfortable bed, plush linens, and well-appointed furnishings created a luxurious haven where we could unwind and recharge. The attention to detail and cleanliness was evident throughout our stay. The resort's staff truly went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. From the warm welcome upon arrival to the attentive assistance throughout our stay, their professionalism and genuine hospitality were truly commendable. They were always available to address our needs, provide helpful recommendations, and make us feel like valued guests. The resort's dining options were a culinary delight. they provide buffet style breakfast , lunch and dinner. You MUST try the asam laska and shredded chicken hor fun , really DELICIOUS !!! Adeline very friendly and share a lot of her story with us . I am highly recommend Adeline'villa to anyone seeking a peaceful and luxurious retreat.

Good communication before and after visit. 1 night stay.

White water rafting and caving was fantastic. Our guides made it a truly wonderful experience. They have such great humour and plenty of photos. Night jungle trek was also good

Villa was nice, clean toilet and shower facilities.

The food was out of this world. Fabulous canteen setting - lovely jazz music, amazing selection of local and international cuisine..simply wow!

Adeline and her staff were ever present . They are so friendly, helpful and welcoming. It is evident that all the team want the visitors to have the best time

I stayed here with my family for 2 nights in air conditioned villa with attached bath providing maximum comforts in the jungle. This is an amazing place located in the middle of the dense rain forest offering a breath taking views. All the staff here are very pleasant and I really impressed with “NOOR UL” “AKMAL”, “HIDAYA” and “ETIN”- Thank you all of you.

Food was so delicious that you can rarely find even in 5 star hotels. They serve a buffet and BBQ with lot of variety. ADELINE is a wonderful lady , personally supervising the all three meals.

WIFI is not available in rooms. I would suggest Adeline to provide WIFI to all accommodations as it will add much value as comforts.

We did a lot of activities including White Water Rafting and Jungle Trekking to water fall. Rafting was a wonderful thrilling experience full of real fun.
For nature lovers, this is a MUST visit place and I will definitely visit here again.

Adeline's Villa is located in Gopeng, Perak. It's situated on a hill surrounded by luscious greens. Do not rely on Waze as the GPS coordinate given was inaccurate.

To get there, find for a mini round about in the tiny town of Gopeng. Once there, take a 3'o'clock turning, following the brown signage which states "Homestay". You will find signage by Adeline's Villa. Do not be confused with Rumah Rehat Adeline as they are situated in different locations.

Adeline, the owner and her staffs are extremely jovial and helpful. Food is tasty with a great variety of local dishes. They have a recreational area for ping pong and such. They also organize outdoor activities such as water rafting and hiking. Situated on top of a hill, the weather is comfortably cooling.

I'd highly recommend Adeline's Villa for nature lovers. I'd definitely return!
