I would have stayed for months, if possible. We were there for an all too short week. The Castells are lovely people in EVERY way. I am not sure what RonT58 was referring to concerning upkeep and overdue maintenance. Whatever this was must have been addressed, as everything was in excellent condition. We had the opportunity to see each suite...

Is is possible to have a romantic weekend by yourself? The answer is absolutely YES in this magical boutique hotel next to the Gala Dali Castle! Kim & Olga, the proprietors & hosts, welcomed me into their extraordinary home feeling like I was walking into a dream. I was transported to the Unicornio Pata suite on the second floor located...

This is a special place, opposite Dali's castle in a very quiet village (with some tourists walking around during the day). Interesting mansion, decorated and designed in a unique style by the extremely friendly owners: renowned photographer Kim and his wife Olga - the latter only speaking Spanish -. We stayed in the big suite, which is a bit cave-like,...

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying here for 3 nights in April. This is a unique and welcoming establishment. Kim and Olga are indeed extraordinary hosts and they went out of their way to make our stay special. As it was our 1st wedding anniversary we decided to renew our vows in their lovely garden setting. We...

My wife and I stayed at Las Moradas del Unicornio for 1 night in February as we where visiting El Celler de can Roca in nearby Girona (about 30 mins in a cab). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found Olga and Kim to be friendly, welcoming hosts. Olga doesn't speak English but is clearly very passionate about the house,...

My husband and I spent two nights here while biking in the region, and we really enjoyed it! As others have noted, Olga and Kim really go out of their way to make you feel at home, and their home is wonderful! The property: We stayed in the Dorado Unicorn room, which was huge and had the whirlpool tub mentioned...

My wife and I stayed at Las Moradas last June. It was a little hard to find (enter Pubol, not Girona, in the GPS), but once there we were welcomed ever so warmly by the hostess, Olga Castells (whose husband is a famous landscape photographer.) The guest rooms are beautifully appointed, and soft mediaeval music combined with Olga's amazing cuisine...

We were looking for something a little different and were taken with the unique and quirky look of the house along with its very special location and history. It is not your average B&B and it is certainly not your average B&B price, but we believe you get what you pay for in life. We arrived late in the afternoon...

We wanted a break from city life, and choose this place based on the trip advisor reviews. We had the white suite, as the gold was not available. It was lovely antique style and very large, although i found it a bit dark. The house and garden were spotless and tastefully decorated. The hosts, Olga and Kim, could not have...

This was such a surprise and totally unexpected. As an aside, it is an example of why Trip Advisor is so important as this B&B is not found in the normal travel guides and my concierge service had never heard of it. BUT this trip was special as we were visiting Can Roca (no.2 restaurant in the world) and we...

“The room up under the roof has a very light peaceful energy . gives a lot of inspiration and happiness. the room on the same level as the library has a very cosy home energy the room next to the unicornio room is like a womb very good to recover and be on your self. And the unicornio room is the cream of the crope, like being in paradise its large and luxury with a bathroom with whirlpool, French doors to the beautiful romantic garden with a terrace to sit and eat outside. all rooms are very romantic and special and great to relax and recharge yourself.”

“A detailed description of The Suite Unicornio Pata is in my review... I did get to see some of the other suites on the ground floor. They were equally as enchanting, although dimmer light, with access out to the gardens. Each suite was totally different & had very elaborate decor. Kim & Olga must have collected treasures for decades~”
