We stayed there for one night. This place is very close to ancient Yapahuwa kingdom. They have comfortable and spacious rooms with AC. However we didn't have a dinner buffet since there was no many guests. Better to inquire this before your visit to avoid dissappoinments. 😊 But we had a good breakfast buffet. Swimming pool looked bit untidy. Staff...

We came by train to Maho from Jaffna. The peace and quiet after busy Jaffna was wonderful. The hotel was quiet as they were between coach parties. The rooms are adequate rather than luxury but the grounds and the pool are well tended. When there are coach parties the meals are buffet or a set menu. When ordering from the...

Yapahuwa paradise was our first experience in Sri Lanka. The hotel was part of the package that we bought (Jet Tours France). The hotel is very simple (especially the bathroom) and clean. The pool is quite big. There were a lot of small flies (not mosquitos) that were not getting away even with a strong mosquito repellant. Similarly to some...

We stayed here for 2 nights. The room was huge with very high ceilings which gave it an airy feel and the AC was effective. It was nicely furnished -the bed was like a 4 poster but draped with mosquito nets rather than fine textiles and a room boy would appear at about 7 to arrange the nets. The room...

Stayed for one night. Very relaxing place. Food was very good and the staff were friendly and attentive. Rooms are clean and well laid. Can get a foot massage from the adjoining Aurvedhic center. Suggest that you go with a crowd to see the ruins. It is a bit out of the way and lonely area,

Having read the other reviews for this hotel I think we stayed at a different place! We were on a tour and there were 19 in the group, we stayed for one night. Rooms were adequate but not well equipped but the main problem was in the restaruant where the staff were unable to produce a meal for us that...

This was my first time in Sri Lanka and my 1st Sri Lankan hotel.. a very pleasant introduction to Sri Lanka with the white ibis walking round the outdoor swimming pool when we arrived!! It was rainy, hot and very humid (but i guess thats Sri Lanka!) when I was there so it was a bit of dash in the...

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. What we liked most at Yapahuwa Paradise was the fantastic hospitality, especially from Menaka and his team. The rooms are airy, spacious and clean. The food was good and we had carte blanche over menu selection as there were not many other guests at the time. Unfortunately the lake had dried up...

The hotel is located near one of sri lankan old heritage site. There is a natural lake which gives the best view near rooms. Also there we can watch birds and have nature walks. Front desk is more professional on welcoming guest s. Superb location. You must stay at least 2 days for your real stay.
