The suites were immaculate, rustic decor, and fully equipped kitchens. The deck overlooked the pristine lake. The lack of cell service and TV was a blessing. Acess to free rowboats canoes and pedal boat. The management team of Farrah and Cliff were very attentive to all our needs. We will be back.

Stayed for two nights. Beautiful setting of cabins and suites at a lake. Guests have complementary access to canoes and boats, hiking and cycling starts directly at your door including Kettle Valley Railway Trail. Or simply hang out at the beach. Cabins are rustic, kitchen is very good equipped, nice deck with a view on the lake and BBQ. Very...

Swimming with loons, canoeing with beavers, making pancake breakfasts with maple syrup in our wood panelled A-frame, a perfect old fashioned Canadian getaway. The lake was clean and serene, the perfect size for swimming or a pleasant paddle without the disturbance of annoying motor boats. Farrah and Cliff were perfect hosts who are sure to have the door hardware replaced...

My partner and I planned this vacation not knowing what to expect. We stayed in cottage #8 and what we found was a beautiful cottage, fully equipped with every amenity imaginable and very clean. Laurel and Arlyn went out of their way to make everything perfect for us. They were the most awesome hosts! I ran a motel myself for...

We have recently returned from our 3 day cycle trip along a portion of the Kettle Valley Rail Trail. After a long day it was such a treat to arrive at Idabel Lake Resort. We were warmly welcomed by Arlyn and Laurel. We were a group of 8 and the Summit Lake Suite was so suitable for us. A cold...

We are from the Kelowna area and this was our first time spending time at Idabel Lake. It is so close to home, yet we still feel like we got time away for some R&R. The management was extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed in the Minnow Suite which was very clean, had a rustic feel and came with everything...

We stayed here with my in-laws for 2 nights in "The Boathouse." We had a fantastic time here. We were surprised how fully stocked it was with movies, CDs, the kitchen was well supplied and very comfortable beds. We also enjoyed using the hot tub after a long day of skiing at Big White, which is only 30 minutes or...

Our first ever Christmas away from home..... we were nervous! Idabel Lake Resort turned out to be an incredible place to try this adventure! Great staff and a friendly, home-style environment you may not find anywhere else! Is it posh? No. Is it comfortable? VERY! If you want to disconnect, this is the place to do it - skating, snow-mobile,...

Recent stay at the Idabel Lake resort was a real treat. This was a five man board meeting and Field trip and we stayed in the summit suite. Full kitchen well equipped but missing the usual sugar for coffee and no salt. Always bring your own. Beautiful view of the lake and very friendly staff. Rooms and kitchen were clean...

Before booking, I ready every review and was confident that this was the perfect place for our family summer get away. Boy were we in for a surprise, cabin #4 smelled when we walked into it. There was dog hair everywhere, the sheets were not freshly washed and not everything was washed down in the kitchen! The shower was disgusting...the...

We are sorry to know that you experienced a dirty room. When we began our roles as managers of Idabel Lake Resort (March 2015), one of our first goals was to thoroughly clean all of the cottages and suites. Our Spring cleaning is now complete!

“We were in #8, which is the highest cottage. But we could drive right down by the dock with all our fishing gear. If you are travelling with small children you may want to choose a cottage or suite closer to the playground and beach area. If you want more privacy and a very large deck #8 is an awesome choice, complete with Satellite TV.”
