Good nights stay, food very good. Recommended as a one night stay. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very comfy bed. Shower quite small and some noisy pipes, but not a problem. Very clean. Breakfast place was laid out waiting for us which was nice. Easy to find off the m5 junction 27.

The staff were lovely and exceptionally helpful. Changed on phone to family room had 2 big double beds and lots of space. Bathroom not luxiourious but functional. Breakfast food, cereals etc and good cooked breakfast. All in all very good and very reasonably priced. Road wasn't too noisy certainly didn't affect sleep.

Lunch with my husband here and we were really surprised to see some different choices for vegetarians...butternut squash, feta and pomegranate mossaka, Korean curry that was vegan and a Thai veggie burger etc. So much nicer than the usual veggie mush that gets repeated on menus! Good service too and very reasonably priced.

Had a family roast which was quite nice but the staff not that nice . No smiles or thank you from the ladies serving us expect a nice lady with short hair possible manager . Very busy pub but must be for the beer not the unfriendly faces .

Visited twice now, once before the refit in November and second time in April. Both times food was really good and staff friendly. The steak was very tasty, my friend had the chicken curry and that was also good Can highly recommend the chocolate orange dessert Well worth a visit 😀😀

A pleasant pub with standard pub food. The music was quiet which we liked. We arrived at mid day and by the time we left it was very busy. Service was ok, but not warm enough to make us feel like wanted customers.

Lovely pub and food but no disabled toilet and normal ladies toilet cubicles so small virtually impossible to assist someone who needs help . Disappointing for such a large pub . Please consider more about your clientele when you next refurbish .

We pre booked our table weeks before our visit on 27 December knowing that the Inn would be busy. We were proved correct and treated to an excellent lunchtime experience. As always, great service, superbly presented and tasting food, excellent atmosphere and the prices charged provided a good deal. Don't wait for next Christmas to try out the Waterloo Cross...
