My boyfriend and I stayed only one night (we regret not staying longer) in a private room. Overall, this was a lovely stay and felt as if we were sleeping in a tree house. The prices are great in May during off-season, and it seemed pretty full with foreign travelers, who were really nice to chat with around the common...

Hey our friend, Thanks so much for the great review. We are very pleased you enjoyed your stay (and even our stairs!) plus our delicious food! We would just to like to confirm that these bugs are not cockroaches. They are another type of flying bug that come out when the first rains hit Minca in May, they hang around...

This place really deserve its high rating. Its simply a perfect place to swich off end enjoy the views and the nature. They serve great vegetarian dishes and decent breakfast. The is no Wi-Fi here which is refreshing after arriving in so many hostels with zombies on sofas. It’s a bit of a treck to get up there but its...

If you think to take a motorbike to your hostel when you arrive... this is the only hostel you can't take a motorbike to and they will give you a small laugh, and you will be walking up circa 280 steps. Is it worth it? YES it is!! The hostel has a good atmosphere and vibe. If you don't want...

Thank you to the Casa Loma team for a wonderful stay! Even though the hill up from Minca is tough, here are a few reasons why this was great for us: - great location to visit Minca and easy access via taxi colectivo and bus to the parque tayrona. - the recommendation book that is in reception with tips that...

As with most other people, Utopia hostel was overbooked. We were very pleasantly surprised with the place - the food was plentiful and tasty whilst the views were unbelievable from their special viewing patio. A little bit of a trek to get there but worth the hard work!

I stayed for one night on this property, having no expectations when I arrived. It is a 400+ step climb to get to it so be prepared. Upon arrival, I had a fantastic, vegetarian meal that was only bested by the even more fantastic vegetarian dinner. The hotel is so cute. It combines nice tents with hammock and multi bed...

It is a nice place to stay, I would be lying if I didn't say so. But it was a bit disappointed as well. We pre-booked this place via the website and looked at the nice pictures of the huts. We liked the tree-house in particularly, we even re-planned our trip to Minca so we could stay there. Unfortunately the...

Myself and my partner at 60 plus decided to do a bit of backpacking and we could not have picked a more beautiful setting (once we had negotiated the 10 minute climb )HA HA ! But we finally got to the summit and after getting our breath back a cold beer was in our hands. Our room accommodation was a...

We had a two night stay here and once you get over the rather challenging walk up to the hostel ( a nice cold beer on arrival was very welcome) we thought this place was amazing.the venue is truly unique with the incredible views and the sounds of the forest. you truly feel away from it all. We found the...
