We stayed two nights in La Casa loma. A friend of us recommended it and it was totally worth it. The guys where so friendly there. It is a hostel made with a lot of love and detail. You have a big choice of accommodations. We stayed in a 7 bed dorm but you also have hammocks or private hat's... More

Casa Loma is the best. The staff is amazing. Each and every person working there is warm, friendly and accommodating. There is so much to see and do in the area and they will help you make the most of your time. If you just want to chill, then this spot is for you as well. Nestled in the mountain... More

Casa Loma is really amazing place with beautiful landscape 😀 There is no conection to the Internet that's way people (mainly bakcpackers) spend evenings together on talking, playing games etc. Food is so delicious, I ate there the best lunch in Columbia. It is worth to visit that place.

This place is just unreal. Yes you get to the top in sweats every climb up but it's so worth it. The views are amazing all around; beautiful mountains, lush vegetation, pink orange sunsets, cute huts, mind alike people. It makes you feel at home in the jungle. The staff was so friendly and welcoming and the food. OMG the... More

Casa Loma is at the top of a sizable hill, but it is certainly worth the climb. Do not miss the sunset from this amazing view! They offer a nightly dinner for guests at a very reasonable price that was absolutely delicious. The helpful staff organized a cab for us to get to the airport at 5am. Book your stay early... More

Casa Loma is located 15 minutes uphill from Minca. When you reach there you will most likely be exhausted, but the staff immediately welcomes you with a glass of cold water. The Atmosphere in the hostel is ver positive and welcoming. The huts are small, but very special, with view to the mountains from your bed. If you are afraid... More

Casa Loma is at the top of a hill - which you have to walk up with your bags (I would recommend leaving your big bag at your hostel, e.g. in Santa Marta, like we did - and only take a small backpack for your stay). The hostel is really nice + well furnished. Staff are helpful and there are... More

This is an amazing place in Minca! The Casa Loma is placed in the middle of the green forest, a little up the hill in Minca. From the terrace, you have a great view over the mountains and down to Santa Marta and the coast line. The vibe is chilled and the hostal seems to be booked out all the... More

We loved everything about Casa Loma! The location is sublime, high above the village surrounded by lush greenery and flowers. We were treated one night to an epic thunder and lightening storm. Safe in our Mirador Room (the private room above the main gathering area) we were able to take it all in. I will always remember it. We had... More

The place is super interesting and unique. We stayed in a large hut that was beautiful and overlooked Minca. Great sunsets. The food was great. But the people running the place were snobby and pretentious. They were not very helpful at all. Would. It come back
