A charming homely place to stay. It was warm, clean and tidy, I had a lovely well kept room overlooking the canal. Full breakfast was a bonus and very good it was too. I would definitely recommend staying here 5*

What is not to like? Jayne the wonderful owner and manager does a briliant job all round. We were immediately made to feel specially welcome. The rooms were great (we stayed in two different rooms). The up grade room was really nice but the standard room was just fine too ...just a smaller bed. The breakfasts were beyond excellent. This...

What a wonderful place this is. The room we had was delightful, beautifully presented and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was delicious with a wide range of options and the owner, Jane, gives the impression that nothing is too much trouble. We will DEFINITELY stay here again soon.

Stayed here for one night and was not disappointed. The rooms were a good size and very clean with a decent size en-suite. Received a warm welcome from the owner who was very helpful. Breakfast was lovely and we would definately stay again when in the area.

Perfectly situated with a scenic view ( views of boats from the upstairs bedrooms) The olde world charm and warmth has won my family over as compared against the rather...

Called in to Olde Duncombe house without prior notice looking for overnight B&B. Although the hotel manageress was extremely busy making family arrangements at this busy period, she went out of her way to provide us with accommodation for the night. We enjoyed the very comfortable and clean facilities and an excellent breakfast. A very friendly and comfortable venue, would...
