Stayed in October. Excellent food in restaurant and very good breakfast. Staff very helpful and hospitable. Rooms very good, although sometimes dark in daytime, but very well, furnished and tea and coffee every day. Would thoroughly recommend.

I did not know what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms are motel/chalet style. The bedroom wth en-suite was comfortable, clean, tidy in neutral colours. The bed was good, facilities include coffee and tea making with biscuits, also free wifi. The shower room was also clean with toiletries. On the whole very good. Breakfast came with a...

This is one of the friendliest places I have visited. The food is very good, staff are well trained and attentive and the accommodation is comforatable and excellent value. I have stayed at the Inn a number of times with work and as a holiday at the weekend and I would highly recommed the Inn. There are now two other's...

We ate there on a Sunday and relaxed to begin with in a comfy albeit sterile lounge. The food was very good and I started off with the excellent chicken and chorizo kebabs followed by the pub's signature dish: the chicken sizzler with great chips. It's a good place to go and is always busy including in the evenings when...

Normally, when staying away due to work, I tend to go for premier inn's/ holiday inn's etc. but these days they are not so economical. I had a quick browse on booking.com for this stay. To be honest at £40 for room and breakfast, I was a bit sceptical about what I'd find when I got here. What a gem...

We held a family get together at The Village Inn Brompton, and it was brilliant. The staff were very friendly and efficient, the food delicious and the room ideal for our purposes. Organising the event was very easy as the manager was extremely accommodating.

Lovely little holiday stay for a wedding. Very nice accommodation, with great shower and very comfortable bed. Ideal for what we were requiring. Staff were very helpful in providing ironing facilities, late checkout and arranging a taxi to take us to the wedding reception. Breakfast was very good with a good choice on offer. Would recommend to others who are...

Booked this last minute when we decided to go walking and we wanted something relatively close to the two walks we had chosen. Friendly service, comfy bed and great breakfast choice, plus we had a lovely meal in the restaurant which my husband is still talking about. Our room was lovely and clean and had tea/coffee plus biscuits plus free...

What a great find. A friendly Resturant / Bar / Function Rooms / Hotel in a little village with a green and water running through the centre. The staff were welcoming and obliging as we had a mobility impaired member to our party. The food was first rate and at less than £10 for 2 courses good value too. The...
