I was impressed with this hotel the staff were so helpful only one spoke English but all will try to help . Thry recommended a really good restaurant near the golf course they gave us a lift there and back and helped arrange transport ongoing. We checked in at this hotel on 9October 2020.it offered special price for government officer and free breakfast buffet. THE HOTEL HAS 6 FLOORS, our rooms are on 4 th floor , the rooms were clean and provided spCe for working, flatscreened TV, refrigerator and electric kettle for making hot tea or coffee in room. The toilet and bath area were very spaCious. Price is bit expensive when compared to nearby hotel. However, sttaying at this hot for one night is relaxing, enjoyable.

There are not many preferred accommodation available in Su-ngai Kolok aka Golok but Green View can be considered as one of the best there is. We took two rooms for two nights but was assigned on two separate floors because the rooms close to one another were not ready at the time we arrived. Bedroom and bathroom are spacious with adequate amenities. Breakfast is reasonable and quite tasty but needs to improve on replenishment. Moving around the town can be a challenge as there is no taxi service in Golok. Therefore our group had to pillion ride 4 separate bikes in order go around.

Me and my boyfriend stayed for only one night and we were 100 % happy with the choice. Clean, spacious rooms and it was absolutely quiet at night. Very friendly and flexible service! They took us to a money changer in the middle of the night and to the border to Malaysia the next morning without booking anything in advance. The nice coffee shop in the lobby, a garden full with orchids and sitting areas make a super relaxed and homely atmosphere. Delicious breakfast!!!! 😁

Had a double room with kingsize bed. Clean, modern and spacious room with a sofa, comfortable bed, fridge, work table with enough lights, water cooker, television, wifi (didn't use it). Also the bathroom: clean, modern, good water pressure. Will definitely stay here a next time.

If you really need to be in this city, this hotel is absolutely fine. The rooms are spacious. There are a lot of shops and restaurants around the hotel. It is located at walking distance of the station and the market. We had 2 nights in here and were completely happy. English knowledge is limited as everywhere in Narathiwat.

There’s a lot to like about the Green View Boutique. I came to Su-ngai Kolok on a whim - just to see the border town and how it presents. I’m not recommending the town, and I’m not not recommending it. I am not going to Malaysia, so I had no other purpose to visit other than to satisfy my curiosity. For what it’s worth, it’s a much busier and nicer town than I had imagined from previous reports. No reason for me to stay past one night, but I found it friendly. The Green View Boutique is a nice place to stay by all accounts. Word of warning: If using Google Maps, don’t type in the name of the hotel. Rather, type in its address. Where Google Maps places this hotel on the name when searched by name is not exact and it had me driving in circles to find it (though this could be corrected by the time the reader visits. Overall, Google Maps in Thailand for name-destinations (not addresses) is not great. It gets me in the vicinity, but 75 or 80% doesn’t cut it when driving on the opposite side of the road, in small Southern Thai towns where few people speak English, and the crowds of people, aggressive motorbikes, and insane car drivers demand one’s undivided attention). II suspect the Green View labels itself a “boutique” hotel because it’s not an imposing tower like some of the other hotels in town. Thus, when driving on a nearby street, one cannot see it from the distance and drive accordingly. I suspect there are over 60 rooms here. The good is that it’s quiet, the beds are great, the shower is hot and for an electric contraption, it has excellent water pressure. The staff is sweet as well, which is always a plus. The bad is that as beautiful as the hotel appears, there are lots of things that don’t work. The hotel looks nicely maintained, but I have encountered far too many non-working or poorly functioning details in my short, one-night stay for that to be the case. No one seems to notice or to care. Case-in-point, I had to move rooms. My first room didn’t get a wi-fi signal because the router was broken. Well, I got plenty of signals, but I couldn’t connect. The worker at reception came to my room and, like me, tried fifty times to connect but could not. The router, meanwhile, was directly outside my door. A worker came to reset the router, which fixed the problem for approximately fifteen minutes, at which time, I could no longer connect. In that very same room, one of the handles on the built-in closet was broken off, the air conditioner barely worked (as evidenced by the lack of air flow from the compressor on the balcony), and the refrigerator was about as cold as my car’s trunk (in the South of Thailand, that’s pretty darn warm). All of these problems were fixed when I moved floors and into a new room. Good, not great, internet, better frig (though hardly ice cold), and a wonderfully cooling air conditioning unit that hums nicely even when on a modest setting. In this new rooms, however, the shower height adjustment is broken. The shower is perfect for someone under five feet tall. It cannot be adjusted and therefore rests at its lowest level because the plastic clamp is loose and needs replaced. It would be a simple and inexpensive fix, and I cannot imagine that the maids do not know about this, but I am confident that it will continue to be broken for years to come . . . Just like the refrigerator, the air conditioner, and the internet in the other room. I’m sure I wasn’t the only one suffering from connectivity issues. Maybe other people, particularly Thais, use their cellular data plan because it’s too much hassle to deal with. Also, I suspect, it might be considered too aggressive to ask to change rooms in this culture. I did so nicely, and I was accommodated without any resistance, but as a non-tourist destination, perhaps not too many speak up. I don’t know. What I do suspect is that I could stay in ten different rooms, and something would likely be imperfect or broken in each and every one of them. Obviously, some issues are worse than others. Room 314, my first room, hit the trifecta of dysfunctionality. All in all, I think the Green View is a good option for Su-ngai Kolok. I’d stay here again, and I recommend it . . . But be prepared for not everything to work, and perhaps the need to speak up or possibly change rooms

Booked a double single bed room. Really clean. WiFi is great. The staffs are helpful and smiles all the time. In Sungai Kolok, most massage services are ordered to room. The receptionist can help call, with no charges

Before I continue with this review, I would like to advise readers to walk in and book your room at the reception rather than doing so online as you will save yourself USD $9 - $10. If you book online, you pay 1200 THB, but if you walk in, the tariff rate is only 900 THB. This hotel looks new, I would say it looks relatively nicer than most hotels in the vicinity. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, and there was a sofa in the room. The service too was fast, and the hotel provides free shuttle to any destination within a five mile radius, including the airport, which is a bonus. I liked the room, as I was only passing through, the only reason why the "like" is not a "love" is because there is nothing around the surroundings except for a couple of small grocery shops and a few cheap eats nearby. This is no fault of the hotel, but I would only stay there for a day and move on to my next destination. Recommended for a one night stay, definitely.
