For 3 nights it's a fun experience to have only oil lamps, mosquito nets and cold water. Some nights if the river current is strong, the banging rafts can keep waking you up, but the worst noise comes from if you are unlucky enough to have neighbors who want to talk all night outside your room. Overall though I would...

It was a pity we had only a night at this place. The natural ambiance was the best, the lack of electricity was the charm of the place as we got to be truly indulged with the surrounding. The food was good. The night show by local children added colours to our lovely stay. Highly recommended.

The River Kwai Jungle Rafts does not have electricity and this is NOT readily apparent on their website or on the reservation website. Our neighbors likewise showed up unaware that there would be no electricity. While this would normally be fine - we simply weren't prepared or properly packed. We also had two small children who could not sleep due...

River Kwai Jungle Rafts was a great weekend getaway from Bangkok. The drive past Kanchanaburi is easy on nice roads with not too much traffic after getting out of the Big Mango. After the drive it's a 20-minute longtail boat ride up the Kwai River to the hotel. It really is remote, no electricity or wifi and very little traffic...

We love the serenity of the place. The green bush, the flowing clear water, the bright moonlight left a fantastic impression on our mind. We had a great time just jumping into water, relaxing on the balcony or taking nap in the comfortable hammock. The flowers around the accommodation together with the surrounding nature make this place a heaven on...

This is not for the people who need a plug point there is no electric st all. It is great fun for just one or two nights as there is nothing to do apart from jump into the river. We arrived at about 1500 hrs and stayed until the following morning after 3 nights in Bangkok was fabulous. Swimming is...
