My fiancé and I stayed at the hotel while visiting our wedding venue in the area. The owner of the hotel was extremely friendly and helpful with all of the questions that we had. I speak pretty bad French but she spoke pretty decent English so communication was not a problem. The room we stayed in was extremely clean and big which made the hotel very comfortable. We also had breakfast provided for us which had a lot of homemade components and was delicious. I believe there was an option for dinner but we did not take part in this. We had a great stay and I would easily recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a nice place to stay in the area.

Had a marvelous time with Fannie and her lovely kitten in this charming B&B. It is actually more than that as she prepared a fabulous family meal for us one evening. The rooms are large and well appointed. The wifi worked perfectly-always important to us, and she also provided a good selection of wine and beer for us to choose from. We often played cards (she provided the cards too) on her patio late into the evening. We would love to return in the summer and use her in ground pool which looked great.

Chose to stay here as we were attending a wedding at the beautiful chateau just a few minutes drive away. Cathy couldn't have been more helpful before and during our stay. Our 2 rooms were comfortable and clean and breakfast was sufficient and tasty with home made jams and yoghurts. This rustic property comes with a lovely pool which we relaxed around and swam in despite the water being cold! All in all a very relaxed stayed where we were looked after well and given so much freedom to just come and go as we please and use our rooms until our departure. Thanks Cathy as a perfect stay for a perfect wedding. Oh, go to restaurant La Bontemps just a few doors away.

We made this booking as we wanted a swimming pool at the places we stayed while travelling Bordeaux for the week. We have just left Les Tuileries, and have come away with very mixed feelings! Estelle was delightful, spoke English well and offered information about where to visit. We had the Marine room which was very spacious, themed nicely - lovely shower despite a little mould. The breakfast was good, even tasty home made yoghurt. However on arriving we walked down the driveway passing a pile of dead branches and rubbish, walked into the courtyard with blue containers of dead garden rubbish, open hedge shears, broken pink umbrellas and a coffee table with a chunk broken out of the top! The area was very cluttered! I then walked to the pool, and while the water was fairly clean, the area was nothing like the photos taken in 2016! It needed a jolly good clean! (See photos)The area was covered in weeds, the lawn not cut, dead bushes, dead plants in pots, even dog mess in the long grass! The pool cover was pushed into the garden border and not used while we were there. The public areas and facilities were such a disappointment, and seem like they need regular maintenance. Nothing was like the photos on the website! With such a warm welcome and great possibilities I wish them the very best.

We stayed 2 nights at either end of a wedding in the nearby chateaux. The house is beautiful and the rooms comfortable. We have a 10 month old baby and a cot was provided as we requested when booking. The hosts were very helpful indeed doing their best to accommodate our needs. A blend of being "on hand" to help but also respecting our privacy when using the gardens and the main living area, was very much appreciated and this made us feel we could really relax. We had 2 lovely swims in the pool which was clean and well maintained. We asked if the hosts would mind if we bought food from the local supermarket to eat in the garden. We had a few small items that needed to be heated through and our hosts were very accommodating in doing this for us. A great experience. Would return again.

Had a lovely 3 night stay here while attending a wedding at the local chateau. Estelle (who speaks perfect English) and Pascal were the nicest of hosts, even at one stage when there were 11 of us taking over their beautiful home and garden! Our immaculately clean room (Rose Bonbon) was on the top floor but they do have rooms on lower floors if you don’t fancy the stairs. I’d definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

This was a stopover for us for 1 night. We thought the house and its grounds were delightful, lots of shabby chic and reminded me of the movie "A year in Provence". The owners were pleasant, professional and knowledgeable of the surrounding area. We stayed in the Black and White room, which was spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. For us the only thing that let it down was the lack of bars and restaurants in the surrounding area that could be reached on foot. The only restaurant in the village was fully booked so we had to drive further afield for a meal. However, this is out of the owners control. As we are on a tour of France, Portugal and Spain we had a lot of equipment in the car and we would have preferred to have the car within the grounds and not in a public area. However we didn't ask the owners if we could do this and I imagine they would have obliged if we had done so. We'd recommend the hotel and would stay again if we were in the area.

I wouldn’t usually be bothered to write reviews but I was so shocked and appalled by the way we were treated during our stay I’m compelled to have my say. First impressions of the outside and grounds is that they are unkempt and don’t look like any of the images online or on the postcards that are placed around the rooms inside the B&B On arrival myself and my husband were greeted by the host who showed us to our black and white room. The room was adequate, nice size and the en suite was good, if not a little dirty, particularly the shower, pictures in the photos. What happened in the subsequent days was nothing short of ludicrous. It included voicemails left on many of the guest phones asking us not to come and to find other accommodation even before checking in. An e-mail from the booking site that Les Tuileries was booked on, stating that there were damages, this was actually because of a small beer bottle that was broken and picked up and left on a table as there were no bins to dispose of it. We weren’t a noisy group, we were respectful but were treated like we weren’t welcome from the minute that we arrived. You can see from the replies that this woman has left on any negative comments that she CANNOT process negative criticism. She needs to learn how to treat her customers because the grounds and accommodation do not make up for her bad attitude.

Clean rooms and good location for the wedding we attended. That’s where the positives stop. Pool was not usable and we were only informed of this the day of arrival after another person who arrived earlier than us had complained about it. We more or less got a phone call telling us if we were going to arrive and complain we should go find somewhere else to stay. We were told it was as a result of the weather but the photo I got shows a pool that has not been maintained properly lately at all. Hosts so rude to us at every turn. For some reason everything was a problem and was met with a scowl. There was a nice breakfast of croissants coffee jam yoghurt and juice laid out but if something was missing from your table (which was my husbands whole place setting one day) or if you needed to ask for something you were greeted with total rudeness - one day I was asked “what do you want????” as if I had just wandered into a strangers living room and demanded breakfast. We left a day early as we had planned to spend our last day at the pool - was told rudely by host we wouldn’t have been doing that anyway as it was an overcast day. Not the point. We told the host in advance we planned to leave early because of the facilities being out of action and that we felt we shouldn’t have to pay for the final night. Was made to write a handwritten note stating this on departure as we apparently should have had to pay a penalty. Basic knowledge in customer service lacking there. Was disappointed and surprised to have this experience as we read the good reviews before booking but something has gone wrong here. I’ve no doubt judging from replies to previous bad reviews the host will reply to this justifying why she was so rude to us and the extended group staying there for the wedding and why all of the things that I mentioned were actually somehow our fault. And that sums up the place really.

Visited as part of a weekend away. Stayed another night in Bordeaux. We stayed in the blue and white room. It was very comfortable, very spacious. Amazing shower and massive bed. Loved having the personal breakfast the next morning. Estelle is lovely. We didn’t speak a lot of French and Estelle’s English is amazing. We’ll be back regularly!!
