Amazing Hotel with fabulous managers Sean and Deb and their team. Spent Australia Day here and had a brilliant time. Food great, beer cold and friendly locals that know a lot about the local area. Highly recommend you visit whenever heading past. We will be back again!!!

Had a great lunch here and they have very friendly staff. They have reasonably priced meals that are great with a cold beer after a big morning. Family friendly when we went with an 11 year old on a Tuesday.

Went here for dinner and drinks August 2016. Great atmosphere, excellent selection of food, nice cold beverages and great conversations with the daintree area locals. Menu has something for everyone, food is delivered fast and hot! Highly recommended.

Good for lunch. Quite big meals - burgers, fish and chips, pies etc. Good sized menu with something for everybody. Indoor and outdoor eating areas. Not a great deal of ambience but adequate for a quick stop.

Left Cairns on a road trip on our way to Wujal Wujal via the scenic coastal road through Mossman, Daintree and Cape Tribulation. The Cow Bay Hotel is perfectly positioned about half way along the drive which made it the perfect place to call in and grab a bite to eat and some refreshments. The pub has a nice outlook...

Busy bustling pub in the middle of Cape Tribulation stopped here on a Friday night we sadly didn't win the neat raffle. Although they where busy our food arrived promptly this was happily eaten it is a great little out of the way pub with good pub food and a cold beer on a hot day worth a stop

Stopped for a cup of coffee at 10h30. Lady at the counter did not even speak to me except telling me the price. Then took 30 minutes to make the 2 cups of coffee. She just dumpped the cups on the table, illing some of it and left without a word! Rudest person in Daintree!

Pulled up at cow bay hotel for lunch , we were late , the chef accommodated by staying late, food was fantastic, a memorable steak. 3 days later took 8 family members, half the party were held up by a delay at the river crossing , again the chef stayed back and cooked us all fantastic meals. Beer was perfect...

The motel is a typical Australian road motel but was clean and bug free. The service made this place stand out. We have found the service and hospitality in Queensland to be embarrassingly bad (and this is coming from Perthians!) but Cow Bay motel was able to redeem Queensland. From making us custom drinks to serving delicious food the staff...

If you want an authentic Australian pub experience with outstanding food, you cannot go past this place. Our Daintree hosts recommended a visit as the new management had updated the menu and it was one of the best meals we had on our holiday. The service was fantastic - friendly and accommodating. Great music and relaxed atmosphere, a really enjoyable...
