Slightly overrated for a three stars but this hotel is nevertheless very pleasant and totally fine for a night. Friendly staff and large and good breakfast in the dining room overlooking the river. The hotel is right in the city centre so very easy to walk to local restaurants and to the castle and churches. Comfortable beds and good wifi...

The location is wonderful for history buffs; in a Medieval plaza, dining above the river, walking distance to the train. For North Americans, driving the narrow streets can be daunting, though. It is clean, comfortable, & has everything one needs, but it is done on the European model, not American. The complaints about décor are misplaced- if one wishes a...

It doesn't look impressive, especially with roadworkers outside digging up the street, and the interior is no beauty either, but it has all the important things you want from a hotel. Pleasant, efficient, helpful reception staff, spacious rooms, comfortable beds, quite recently upgraded bathrooms and a dining room with balcony overlooking the river. The waitress who served our dinner was...

The scruffy exterior reflects the tired interior. Like being in a time warp from the 1970s. Shown a tiny dull room overlooking the river we opted for a larger one at the back. At least it was large as was the bathroom. Some attempt at modernising the bathroom had been made but the towels were thin and small. Bedding was...

We ended up in Foix and used trip advisor to find this hotel, which is perfectly located on the edge of old town. We are experienced travelers but not terribly picky. Nevertheless, this hotel was a bit of a stretch. It's very dated, yet retains an old world charm. You feel like you have walked into a time warp. Our...

Handily located, close to the station, overlooking the Arriege river, this is a pleasant, unpretentious hotel. The rooms are a bit tired but not annoyingly so - ours had a river view and was very comfortable . An 'old school' place - we liked it. It's in the old part of the city fairly close to the Chateau. The restaurant...

Lucky to find this hotel as there didn't seem to be much choice. Room large a bit dated but nothing to complain about, clean comfy bed. Staff very friendly. Had a really nice meal with table overlooking the river.

The hotel consists of two connected buildings with different room styles and views, looking out over the river Ariege or over a medieval square. We choose a more high-ceilinged and spacious room with view over the river. Staff are friendly and helpful, the hotel's restaurant terrace over the river is inviting and matched by the fine cuisine and selection of...

Stepping in this hotel was like making a trip in the past... 70s I think! The hotel is one of of the only ones situated in the old town, overlooking the river and very close to the castle. The room was a bit dated apart from the really modern bathroom. The reception staff were very helpful. We also had dinner...

A very central hotel with very pleasant and helpful staff. The hotel is very quaint with an eclectic mix of furnishing and room styles. Both the setting of the restaurant and the food are lovely. There is no aircon but each room has a cool air fan . I shouldn't recommend it as I don't want it to be full...
