Unfortunately we caught the long weekend for our first three nights at Tangalooma so the whole place was crowded and nothing like what we expected. Our room in Pandanus was large and clean and I have definitely stayed at worse. We took an un-serviced package which kept the price down slightly. We didn't count on the prices associated with eating...

Went here with two other couples. The apartment was awesome and that is it. The resort is essentially a construction site. There is no where to eat. The girls took their resort wear ha, no where to go with that. The food such as it is, is unbelievable poor. Straight from freezer to fryer to plate. The bar was built...

Moreton Island is a beautiful and unique island that comes with wildlife, deserts, bushland, golden sand beaches and crystal clear water. The resort staff are friendly and there are various tours of the island available. Tangalooma resort itself seems old and dated. The buildings are quite old fashioned and unattractive as they do not blend in well with the surroundings....

We have just returned from 3 nights at Tangalooma and loved it. Such a beautiful location right on the crystal clear beach and so many fun activities to do which was great for our 9 and 12 year old boys. Highly recommend the snorkel tour and desert safari tour. We stayed in a deluxe hotel room which was adequate for...

Yes its a tropical island off Brisbane. however for the prices they charge it may be cheaper just to fly to one of the many more a little further afield. The rooms are very tired and old. the prices for everything is unjustifiably high. $5.50 for a luke-warm coffee that you have to pick up yourself doesn't seem justified. Also...

All of the recent reviews are spot-on: the resort has a beautiful location (and is easily accessible from Brisbane) and lots to do, although virtually everything costs additional and the prices are more what you'd pay in a top resort than in one that seemed definitely to cater to groups and families. As our rooms were over $300 per night,...

Just returned from 4 nights at Tangalooma and loved it. Sure it's not 5 star but I don't believe it claims to be that. Our travel agent recommended it when I said I wanted just a few nights away locally (from Brisbane) and after reading some less favorable reviews, I wasn't sure what to expect but we thought it was...

Went there with family this January. Booked a resort unit with kitchen and cutlery. Superb room and well behaved staffed always ready to help. Snorkelling was fun and ATV driving was super adventurous. If you havent snorkelled before, take help of the staff, they are very good and ready to help you in water. If you haven't driven an ATV...

We have just returned from a 6 night stay at Tangalooma Resort on Moreton Island. The resort is still being refurbished so bearing that in mind we enjoyed our stay. The restaurant menus are not very exciting but adequate and the servings plentiful. Don't go there if you want a dining experience or you will be disappointed. The hotel rooms...

We stayed in the Kookaburra building, the rooms are a little dated and in need of a refurbishment. When we first arrived at the island we were greeted by Maurie who gave us a tour of the island. Unfortunately it was so hot and just not enjoyable I would have preferred to go into an air conditioned room and advised...
