We have not been here for some years, but decided to try their Thursday steak night. How pleased I am that we did! 2 ribeye steaks with a bottle of cab sav/merlot for £35.00. Absolute bargain. Steaks cooked to perfection (medium rare), beautifully presented with skinny fries, portabello mushroom, grilled tomato and Bernaise sauce. As if this wasn't enough, the...

We held our annual Masonic Ladies Festival at Stirrups for the 5th year in a row, as always the service and value for money was excellent. Jodie and her team were fantastic. I did not stay over but will certainly be putting it on my list. The food was fantastic and can not be faulted.

Stayed here for a very short break. Stayed in the coach house, the room we had was lovely and clean and decor was modern. Only gripe was a too firm mattress and no bath. We ate in the brasserie, food acceptable but reasonably priced. Breakfast was great. Staff were very welcoming , friendly and attentive. We would go back as...

Our first visit to Stirrups was to their Wedding Fair in October 2015, where we were welcomed by a friendly team, treated to champagne and sampled their delicious canapes whilst sauntering around a beautifully decorated function room and gardens. It was a relaxing experience and we were made to feel very special right from the start. Stirrups is a local...

First visit here and ordered the 2 steaks and bottle of wine offer. The steaks were cooked to perfection, the Merlot was very nice and the desserts were delicious. Our waiter Alex gave us exceptional customer service, very attentive and stylish. Highly recommend this place for a pleasant evening.

I stayed at Stirrups after we held our Christmas dinner in their large function room. This is an excellent venue that easily seated our team of around a 100 and has an integral bar area. Just what was required for an informal evening though it would work equally well for a more formal event. The main course was a typical...

Stayed here for a friend's wedding & was so impressed. The staff were great, the food was excellent and the head waiter / organiser Demitrus was just fantastic. Rooms are quaint & clean and the bar serves a good choice of beer including a decent craft largar. The breakfast we had the next morning was also fantastic & they use...

We've just returned from a night at The Stirrups and although the food, the staff and the location of the hotel is fabulous, I'm really sorry to say that the bed in our room, was probably the most uncomfortable bed I have ever had the displeasure of sleeping in. The mattress and pillows were so hard, I eventually had to...

I booked Stirrups for a work conference with attendees from across the globe, the service we received from start to finish was faultless. Rooms were clean and very well maintained and the hotel as a whole had a wonderful character vibe about it. The food was superb and choices plentiful, our group had a few with special requirements and the...

We got married here on 3rd Dec 2016 and we cannot rave about this hotel enough. From start to finish the staff at the hotel were amazing, brilliant communication and could not do enough to make our day special. The day went without a hitch, I wasn't much help on the day due to nerves, but they went above and...
