From easy no hassle check in, friendly staff who were happy to book a taxi, giving directions, topping up my teas and coffees,
I had a fantastic stay. I was visiting family whom I hadn't seen in almost 2 years, I wanted to be able to come back and relax after a hectic day, and this hotel did not disappoint. Room was immaculate and very spacious and comfortable. Family and friends were happy to visit the attached pub with ample sized beer garden which was spotless and clearly well maintained. Staff always happy to help and friendly. Will be booking again for next year and have recommended to other family and friends. Thanks guys!

We stayed in the hotel and everything was what we expected if not better. However we had booked a table for 7 in the adjoining restaurant for a family get together. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was excellent.
However we ordered Bells whisky which was on the drinks menu, but sadly not in stock. The only Scotch whisky available was Glen Fiddich which is a malt and not a blended whisky ( I am an experienced retired publican ) I was told by the staff that they have repeatedly ordered Bells but none has arrived and also when speaking to some of the regular bar customers, they told me the same thing.
I have had exactly the same experience in the Premier Inn in Linwood, which makes me think that it must be company policy not to serve Scotch blended whisky in SCOTTISH prenier inns. I find this to be really bad business and think that whoever is responsible for supplying stock should have a rethink if they are at all concerned about customer's requirements..

Location is way out and bus journey long and cab is very expensive and far from Glasgow Central need more toilets paper in the room and need much warmer. Checking time is very poor to long to wait after a long journey. Need to have more coffee and tea available without having to ask.

Excellent staff, very clean rooms. Stayed at more expensive hotels on previous trips to Scotland and they were not as good value. There was an initial problem with wifi and staff immediately resolved the issue for me.

Stayed here to attend a nearby wedding, the location was where we needed to be. However I would not recommend this hotel at all. The hotel is located at the end of a very dingy road leading to a dark carpark that did not feel safe at all!. We couldn't eat at the nearby beefeater restaurant because it closed at 9pm! Our room was located in the basement/ dungeon, the room was reasonably clean and comfortable. However we were awoke at 5am by the person in the room above stomping around the creaky floor for nearly 2 hours!! I don't recommend the beefeater for breakfast it was clearly reheated food, quite inedible. Wouldn't recommend or return

Response from Whitbread Hotels and Restaurants, Other at Premier Inn Glasgow East Kilbride Central Hotel
Responded 1 Jun 2022
Hello, Thank you for reviewing your recent stay with us. We’re very sorry that you had a disappointing experience due to problems with noise from other guests, the restaurant closing earlier than expected and facing issues with the car parking available. This certainly isn't what we would expect for any of our guests. We’ve ensured this feedback has been logged to the Hotel Management so that they can look into these issues with the Restaurant and Reception teams. This will help us to prevent this experience from being repeated again in the future. Although we can't completely control noise levels, the team will do what they can to reduce disturbance when this is bought to their attention. Moving forward, our Reception team are on hand 24/7 and so we would advise speaking with the team as soon as any issues arise to help resolve this whilst you're still in-house. Again, our apologies and thank you for taking the time to share your review. We hope that we can look forward to welcoming you back to one of our hotels again soon for a more enjoyable stay. Kind regards, Lauren

When I entered the room I was allocated someone was already in there. Not a good start. Luckily they had one room remaining. However the corridor outside the room had an awful smell similar to stale vomit. It could be smelt in the room. According to the receptionist it was because of glue used for the carpet. No attempt to ventilate the corridor or reduce the smell. The free wi-fis is flaky and slow - they really want you to pay for the premium service. The small electric heater in the room can be set to a constant temp - when you leave the room the temp drops back to around 16 deg so you return to a cold room that take time to heat up. The approach road the hotel is full of deep potholes, worse than a farm track. I will not return to this premieir inn and recommend it is avoided.

I have stayed in this Premier Inn for a couple of months now on business, and it’s by far the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff are kind, friendly, and sensitive. They go above and beyond every single day, and I have never had an issue!

The rooms are spotless, regularly cleaned and well maintained. Everything was fully functional, including the kettle, tested that several times a day. Whenever I ran out of tea, coffee, or sugar I went to reception and got more with no problems!

During my stay I had a lot of stress induced nose bleeds, and ruined some bedding, the staff were unbelievably understanding and sensitive about the subject, they were very professional, and never made me feel embarrassed.

The bed is comfy, too comfy I don’t want to go to work some days, and the shower and bath combo is amazing!

I would like to say a massive thank you to all the staff, every single one, too many names to mention, it’s been one of the most welcoming stays I have ever had. The team work well together, everything runs fluently and efficiently. If you need something, just ask them and they get it done.

Unfortunately due to COVID I haven’t yet been able to eat at the restaurant across the car park, but we shall wait and see.

If I have to come back to Glasgow again, for any reason, I will be choosing this hotel, if they will have me back, it’s been by far the best hotel experience I have ever had, only thing that would make it better is if they had a pool!

I’ve been staying at the hotel for a few days and the staff are very helpful, so nice and welcoming. Gavin has been especially helpful when I’ve asked questions about where to go and how to get my laundry done as I don’t know the area. I would recommend staying here to anyone.

Can not complain about anything with our stay at the hotel. We were guests at a wedding locally so wanted somewhere we could get ready for the wedding and have a clean room to spend the night.
We arrived just around 11 and paid the extra £10 per room to get in early which we were happy to do.
Rooms were spotless and everything was there that we needed.
Gavin on reception was very helpful asked if we needed any help on the local area or to get to the wedding.
Breakfast in the beefeaters the next morning was lovely and back to the hotel room to pack away our stuff. Not an issue at all. Would stay at the hotel happily again.
